Why do I lose the house key when I log off ?

Hey, why do I lose the house key when I log off the server, but the offical owner keeps them is there a way I can keep them permanentely too?

No, only the owner keeps the keys.

The house keys work like cars do as the house is not directly linked to your steamID it won't keep it overtime, however the reason you have access to the house once the owner gives you the keys is that the server creates a temporary file with your SteamID in correlation to the other house owners. The reason you lose this key after restart Is that it isn't feasible for the server to keep these temporary files as it can hit on the server's performance.
