Why ASR are banned from AltisLife.co.uk

I don't usually do this but here goes! A public disgracing of people I thought enjoyed contributing to this community.

This week we banned all members of ASR.

If anyone is wondering where they have gone ASR have decided to start there own server/own community which is fine and something i will all support members with, Infact we have someone in our police force who I sent to our server hosts way i am a helpful guy... i know how much work it takes to get a altis server off the floor.

......what was not fine is copying our posts word for word and advertising to our members in our teamspeak how there server is going to be better! (it wont trust me - they are copying our image!)

There donator package which they have changed a few prices on... the epic fail came when the topic which they now amended was topic/238-donate-to-altislifecouk-exclusive-in-game-perks

There copied terms

The domain is even quite similar as well as there "unlicensed" copy of invision power board, they have even gone for a similar theme

I am told there server is very similar and no doubt they have copied alot of the code, I am currently being supplied a copy of there server and will hold further comment about this for now.

When I was told about this at first my first thoughts was we are about to lose some good members... then I learnt from a number of people they had been advertising here.

The other members .... dick move however for Joshbond... the most vile foul mouthed person I have ever come across decided to send some quite tasty messages soon as he knew he was banned for advertising, Some of our admins here and police force jumped through hoops to get him unbanned.

Just remember these are the guys that once wanted to have a Nazi themed logo

Good luck guys your going to need it...I know your going to learn the hard way how much work goes into a community (unless you just keep copying ours of course)

shocking, if your going to make a server and try it for yourself you need to do it your way not copy someone's work.

 
At first i thought you made a screenshot of AltisLifeUK then i realized what was going on. :/

 
What makes me laugh a certain member theirs even berated a certain member of ours as he thought advertising the fact he was looking for a new server.

He said something like "i find your title of looking for other servers in TS offensive to me and other users of this server plz remove it now!"

​What a hypocrite TBH I won't miss some of  them & now more open slots .

Its a shame to see some of them go to be honest. The ones i did speak to seemed nice guys, dick move though whoever decided to do it.

So is josh gone as well?

Hi Wilco,

Once again it is me DaiVader and I have been forced to create a new account to explain the actions undertaken by our gang.

First do not ban me and remove this post, give me this chance to explain ourselves as we didn't want to leave your server on bad terms and I'm here to answer these claims of our server being a copycat of yours which I can see is understandable.

First things first, when you discovered we were creating our own server you first wished us good luck which we thought a nice gesture but you not once offered any kind of support for us or send someone over as you say you did.

Secondly I personally did not help with the creation of our forums and apologise if the donator section was copied, I can assure you that everything else was created by our guys, you can confirm this yourself by visiting our server rules section as they were all written by hand by one of our members and is by no means copied off yours.

Thirdly your claim that someone has informed you our server is similar to yours is pure bullshit, I know this because the server wasn't publicly opened for another two hours after this post was created and was password locked, so whoever told you this was lying and once again I invite you to join our server and see for yourself, there are no similarities at all.

Many things on our map are completely custom made and are not featured on any other server let alone yours.

Also if you fear that we are using your skins and code you again can come in and see for yourself that no skins from your server have been used and all code was made by our dev and he has out over 150 hours into coding it and we have put days of our lives into big finding before our official release.

I however am rather upset that you sent someone else last I night to check up on our server giving him the instruction to troll and cause havoc, if you claim this is untrue then you are lying as we heard his lovely two way conversation when he made the silly move of leaving his mic open for everyone to hear.

We look forward to seeing you sometime again but next time check our server is actually open before posting that someone had told you ours is similar to yours and don't send our guys personal threats because noone takes kindly to those at all.
