I quite like yours actually, the font reminds me of Star Trek - everyone loves a bit of Star Trek.
 

 
I mean the Pavilion logo isn't all that complex. Don't get me wrong, I like it, but it's just the WatchDogs font with a soldier, greyscaled (and possibly had a gas mask put on). 

It's less about how good you are technically speaking, more how good of an eye for design you have.

 
I see more work into yours than the second one which seems to be Watchdogs font, a PNG of a person (prob a raider from The Division) then adding a little sign with rp.uk

 
For what it's worth, there's no need to get angry at other people's work. If you like it, use it as inspiration!

I did Magazine Design for 3 years, and you can see a lot of inspiration in my designs from other magazines like PC Gamer, Xbox Magazine, and Wired. Just note: there's a difference between taking inspiration and copying. Find out what exactly it is that you like about their design and try to incorporate that concept into your design.

To be honest I really like the image of the guy in the gasmask. I just don't know how to get stuff like that :D

Google Images > Search for what you want > search tools > Size: Large (may need to adjust if you pick transparent) > (if you don't want to cut it out yourself) Color: Transparent.

Also, DeviantArt is a great place for this kind of thing (make sure that you look at the license on the image. 99% you can use for personal use like this.)

I don't think I will be posting any banners I create anywhere but on the forums. And the problem I have is that I just don't know how to describe what I would want. So take the picture in the Pavilion logo for example, what would one search to find something like that.
