As a Public server, you don't need whitelisting to play. If you do insist on joining the server, please read the rules beforehand so that you don't get banned!
Playing as a Civilian, you don't need any whitelisting, it's a welcoming community and you'll be able to jump on whenever you like.
If you're looking for a whitelisted role, I'd also recommend playing for a few days to get used to your surroundings, but then if you wish you can apply for a whitelisted role such as the Police or NHS (both applications can be found on the forums under the "Support" tab.
If you're quite a good Pilot, you can always apply for British Airways, or if you fancy a bit of hardcore-rebel roleplay, you can register your interest to join the UNMC via their public forum thread!
