Whats the point in banning?

Im new to to Atlis life and all I ever see on chat is people raging at each other about banning. Whats the point yesterday a guy was in Kavala just walking about robbing everyone in front of police. No one seemed to care about that. But people rage in chat about being killed once or by accident. Try being new and getting robbed when all your trying to do is buy a car.

 
And basically thas how most rebels spend their free time robbing "fresh ones". This server is deeply concentrated on role play, so most them " oh you rdmed " are because the killer didnt engage in role play.

 
so some whiney little bitch that is sad enough to record and render and upload a video just for the whole purpose to get someone banned and this is basically this community. 'oh someone drove in to me i recorded it ban them'. bunch of homo bitches need to sort themselves out

Warning point issued... this is an adult community, Dont act like an idiot here please.

To the original poster...Players here report others if the rules have been broken.... We have alot of people online at once and the admins cannot watch 240 players on Altis Life watching there every move... Players here upload videos to assist with the admins to keep the servers clean.

Its brilliant that people commit there time to give us a hand.

 
I hear what your saying but as a new player all I see is someone get banned for one incident and people doing as they please in so called safe zones right in front of police. Now you have banned someone for a week of posting. Is this a fair community or the third reich?  

 
And no one ever engages in role play in the spawn points its just a free for all for any advanced players, obviously ADMIN is to busy dealing with bigger issues than new players.

Its a fair community and its very popular with alot of people who come here daily... if its not for you then sorry its not and goodbye.

 
I just want to say.. I have been playing here since june 2014, and only once my name landed on the report a player section, and that was uncalled for to say the least. Maybe, instead of focussing on the punishment, you should focus on WHY you got it and try to understand what you did wrong. Gets you a whole lot further than raging on the forums.

I was trying to explain that in side chat people are always having a go at each about banning. My POINT was new players are always getting RDM in green zones but no one does anything about it. I will probably get banned for speaking out as the founder seems to want to squash my question instead of actually answering.

 
Im glad everyone can see the attitude of the founder, basically if your new your get RDM and that's ok unless you record it. I was told this was one of the best servers I just don't see it after the response I am getting.

 
@Plumy ofcourse it is not okay to rdm you if you don't record it. But how are admins supposed to justify a ban without being able to show proof? Simple as that. Its frustrating to get rdm'ed and to not be able to anything about it, but hey, it's life.. Deal with it. Move on. Try to record the next guy.

What do you want .... me to come running with a paper towel to wipe your ass ?

We have 240 people online every single night, as i said the admin team cannot expect to watch every single player, We act upon reports so if you see something record it and report it.

Don't like that then no one is keeping you here.

Until you've been a admin for a community as large and popular as this one is you will probably not fully understand how much work it is, Even with help admins the founder will always be the one doing the most and his time is limited. I know exactly how taxing it can be since I used to run one of the top 10 most popular Rust Legacy servers when the total player population was at its highest peak. I dont run it anymore since its a full time job and I already got one!

Now I'm enjoying myself as a regular player, and member, whenever I can in this outstanding community. Tried a couple of the other altis life communities and imho this one is the best!

 
The point in banning is preventing rulebreaking hobo's from coming back. A warning would simply be ignored, hope this anwsers your question. Now stop being pissed because you got banned, it was for a valid reason.

 
Now now Mr Founder no need to get personnel is there? Remember your meant to showing the community this is a friendly server and that wasn't very friendly now was it? Official Ifrit expert i hear what your saying thank you for the information, I wasn't banned I was just saying I will probably get banned for speaking out is all as I think I upset his Holiness.
