hey guys so whats a good software to use to record gameplay as im getting tierd of the people who RDM in towns ect.

Nvidia Shadowplay, part of Geforce experience. Only catch is that you have to have a Geforce card above a 660 I think.

The way it works is that it is always recording (and takes a very small performance hit, less than 5-10%) and when something happens (e.g. you get RDM'ed, you press a hotkey, and it captures the last section of gameplay (up to 20 mins).

I use it all the time, and it has helped me prove myself out of what would otherwise have been quite a sticky situation ;)

EDIT:

Though I'd best chuck in the link for anyone who is interested: http://www.geforce.co.uk/geforce-experience

I also use OBS, I only have a problem with Game capture so I have to use monitor capture and change my game settings to full screen windowed.

I use Fraps myself may have a look at OBS though see what it is like.

see OBS is there any way i can bind a key so if i push it its starts recording and when i click again it stops and saves? cus thats what i need atm just got RDM again in kavala

I have to disagree with you I have shadowplay and it cuts up my audio from time to time, and if you have been recording a while say a session it will record, but not run as the memory stops, not to mention if I'm poked on TS it saves and stops working,so I have to exit and restart it. It becomes a pain after a while, even though the "quick button" is convenient.

I'm going to try tweaking the settings on Shadowplay, but I've been looking for a new recording software in case so this thread helps me too thank you people.

X split for local recordings easily, change resolution to get perfect 1080p video and bit rate from 1000 to 10.000 it looks amazing captures everything, TS, Skype in-game audio only need to add arma and you're digital audio input :)

I don't like xSplit because of the premium featurews you need to pay for.

Let me say i like OBS to stream, not record.. have to try it as a recorder.

Iv tested OBS and tbh for recording its perfect. It captures video in HD so all good and no problem with audio cutting out ect

Not too sure when i get back home from work il test it and keep you posted but when i was recording i dident notice anything

This is why I use Fraps it is a good all-rounder & has bolted on functions like benchmarking the only trouble is it is not strictly speaking free. ;)
