What recording software should i use?

Hey guys,

As i've been thinking about recording my game session's because if something happens i'll always have proof.

i'm only not sure which one is the best to use.

Does anyone know a good capture program?

OBS is good for long videos and streaming and its FREE

or overwolf isnt to bad

shadow play is good for getting 15 mins of gameplay for report a player

xsplit os good but u will have to pay for it

I use Raptr for 5 - 15 minute chunks of goodness and OBS for anything longer. I can highly recommend both.

You can get shadowplay if you have an nvidia card, Go into GeForce experience and it should be a snazzy little button in the top right.

Yeah i found that out,

When i uhm tried to upload a "test quality" video on youtube after i've recorded with shadow play it seems like the file is 2GB and the video was only like 3-5 minutes long.....

how do i reduce that 2GB? Because my space will fill up within a day if i keep making 2gb files.

I'm actually going to post the thread with the video as soon it's done editing ( yt part )

Use a video editing software and you can compress it down to about 100MB. I think something as simple as windows movie maker will do the trick.
