What is causing this green circle

So i just bought arma 3 apex and karts and when i start up arma 3 I get this green radar thing show up and it seems to overlay the whole screen and never goes away. What is causing this?

Never seen that one before... have you installed anything else lately... picked up any new gaming hardware ?

no new hardware. had a few sound issues but that shouldnt cause that circle to come up. only comes up when playing arma 3 so i only assume its a problem with that

Looks like one of them sound direction programs that act as a "sonar" for gunshots to direct you etc. Not a Arma 3 thing AFAIK, might want to look into your recent installs especially if you use Asus ROG stuff.

Thanks guys sorted it. In the new alienware update last night they set the sonic-radar for detecting sound in games on for action games on my pc. Managed too turn it off and its back to normal. Cheers for your help
