So I got pretty old computer but I have been upgrading some parts there is original motherboard and processor, Id like to run Arma 3 with better graphics and better fps, Im currently running arma 3 with standard graphics and fps is in kavala around 20 and out of kavala 25-35 when its full server.

Processor : Intel Core i5-2500 3.30GHz
Ram : 8.00Gt (Upgarded part)
Motherboard: I don't even know its very old.
Graphic card: Asus Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 2GB

Ask me if I forgot something important! Thanks anyways :)

Get an SSD of around 500GB. Put Arma and your OS on it. Put other shit like TS that doesn't need to load fast on a HDD to save space on the SSD for games and Arma shit. ARMA IS LIFE.

Upgrade the GPU to something better, maybe a more recent GPU like the 970/980ti.

Is your CPU OC? If so do it with a good cooler.

Upgrade the CPU and mobo to something sexy like the 4970K with a good cooler and you'll see HUGE differences.

The 2500 is a pretty solid cpu still - especially if it's a 2500K, crank that baby up with a good cooler!

Upgrade the GPU to a 970 or greater.

Or yes if you have the cash get a 4790k or a 6600K + mobo + new memory (DDR4 for 6600k) as @Samatlewiss

I need to save cash so I can afford to buy the GPU so i was thinking 1. GPU 2. Motherboard/Cooler 3. memory?

Yep that's a good order to do it in.

Go for the GPU first, the 2500k is a really good CPU and as i said before, some overclocking will extend the use you get out of it somewhat.

A GTX970 is around £270

You'll then need to save up in the region of around £400 and you can get yourself either a handy CPU/MOBO/RAM bundle, plus use your old memory (unless you're selling the old pc components) or if you have a particular scheme in mind you can get individual parts.
