What CPU should i get?

So i have came to conclusion that i want to upgrade my gear. Currently i am playing Arma with:

960 4gb

4gb ram hyperx

Athlon x4 860k

I have arma 3 in a SSD and i am getting arround 20 fps outside citys and in citys arround 5-10 fps and i though maybe i could go with a powerfull bagdet cpu that will not bottleneck my GPU like my Athlon is doing currently. I was trying to find a good CPU that could be comparable to a I5 7600k and i found the i5 7500 which seems to be pretty close to it. I would like to buy the CPU , Motherboard, Ram from Mindfactory since its easier for me. I will right bellow how much it costs with the new cpu :

So this would be what i would like to update and would be really interested if you found any mistakes on it just let me know down bellow and also if you think you got something better than that just link it bellow and i will make sure to have a look on it. Btw my bagdet is arround 300 Euros. Thank you very much !

 
i5 6600k is meant to be good for arma 3 and is good for gaming, only problem is that it doesn't come with a fan, it's around £200

 
I personally have the i5-6600k with hyper 212x evo custom cooler, amazing cpu and never had problems with it, just get a cheap motherboard with 1151 socket and your all good to go, and for reference i get about 45-50 fps whilst recording with obs.

 
I'm gonna get the i5-7600k for Christmas do you know if it's arma 3 performance is better than the 6600k?

What temps do you get at max load?

 
I was still looking for a new CPU and i found the i5 8400 with the really good perfomance. It has 6 Cores and arma could take advantage of it since arma needs cores. If you know any further infomation about any kind of CPU just let me now because i will order the CPU in two days . Thank you
