Weird CS:GO derank

I managed to rank up to MGE when playing with @2Pac, then played one more, top fragged and won, but then de-ranked back to MG2.

Really weird, it was the last thing I was expecting as I had only just got MGE...

Anyone know what's up with this?

That does seem really weird. Maybe one of the teammates you won with got banned? The system is really weird but I heard it's about rounds so if you had a game where it was really tight maybe that's why. I'm probably horribly wrong though so pls no one quote me with your amazing theory..

If when you ranked up to MGE one of the people you played with was hacking... when he is caught and banned, that game is non-existent - it gets deleted and doesn't count as anything - therefore, you have never played that game, and thus lose your rank up!

if u havent played for a while then u have to play like 5 games or something to get ur rank back, or atleast i think so
