I would just like to write a message to bring some awareness when speaking to people in the community, on the forums, teamspeak and in game.
When you are writing something on the forum, real people are going to read it. Real people with real lives are going to read it. One remark that is typed by someone can affect and upset a lot of people. We have real lives and real feelings. It's important to realise that when writing a message.
When we are on Teamspeak, we are all real people too. We have different names sometimes, but we are real people. Say someone is called 'funnyduck' it seems like they're not a real person. If yiu say something to them, they can get upset. It is not a funny duck sat behind the computer, it is a real human being with feelings. Don't hurt them. They play this game to have fun and they are real people who can get upset.
onto the game. If you say something IC to the other character ICly, it should be fine. Even so, don't be making real life comments that can offend them. In RP it is alright as you are talking to the character not the player, but it is still important to be careful. It is hard to know if yiu are going OOC when making comments, so it's best to not go over the top. There is still a real person playing as that character and they can still get offended.
