Wanted because of a Glitch

I was wanted because my boat got stuck on the shore, so I used windows key to push it back out into deeper water so I could continue with what I was doing, when my friend ran in front of me, and I accidentally hit him with the boat. He died and I then became wanted, what can I do about this?

Go to the PD and hand yourself in explaining the situation, they will give you a small ticket if you are only wanted for that
