People of Altis,

Every day we are hounded, we are oppressed and punished for being simple citizens. The Police, who claim to be there to protect us, cripple our economy with their heavy fines, they attack innocents, they steal and the punish without any form of possible defense. It is time, for change. Vote for me for Mayor, for a fairer, more accountable police force, and a fairer, more equal society.

If elected I will:

  • Implement the Office of 'District Attorney', a position answerable, and appointed by the Office of the Mayor. They shall be responsible for investigating Civilian Complaints against the Police force, and will - should it turn out the Officer was in contravention of the law - request that the Mayor overrule the Police Decision and then secure compensation for the Civilian.
  • Increase the basic wage in line with inflation to 5,000 so as to allow the hardworking people of Atlis to have a fairer and better chance in life.
  • Remove all speed limits on roads outside of settlements, as travelling at high speeds in these areas posses no threat to Civilian Life.
  • Introduce a Grading System for Police, which dictates what rank they must be to use certain firearms. This will prevent low ranking officers walking through civilian areas with machine guns and assault rifles, and make the police less likely to harm civilians.
  • Make the Mayoral Office more approachable by allowing Civilians and Voters to contact the Mayor via his website ((this page)), and then allowing the Mayor to meet with concerned voters about current issues.
  • Introduce the 'Police Disciplinary Panel' and 'Police Oversight Committee' - made up of the Mayor and nominated others - to ensure the Police standards are kept high, as is expected by the people. This committee will reserve the right to fine Officers who act out of turn.
  • Allow the formation of Private Security Companies to be used for Mayoral, NHS, ARAC and other such protective Duties.
Next election, you all have a chance to make this great Island better. So, when the time comes Vote Vladamir for Mayor, and make Atlis a safer, more secure place.

What do you mean? There is already such a system in place, you can't use 6.5 mm until SGT.

And the fact that a PCSO can have rapid fire weapons is something that concerns the candidate. It's hardly "Community Support" to carry such a weapon.

 
PCSO's shouldn't be responding the call outs on their own, nor should they be engaging with armed rebels. PC's or Special officers who are trained in combat should be.

The police have far to much free reign. They do what they want, when they want and they answer to nobody. 

Its hardly a suprise there are so many rebels!

this only really happens when there are not enough PCs online for PCSOs but even then they tend to double up to make sure that PCSOs don't ride alone. That's why you sometimes see 3 cops in one car

 
I have to say though, you ain't getting votes if you don't shake hands or get your point across to the people there is only so much this post will do before it is ineffective
