Vehicle Mileage feature

Brief Summary:

Add options to be able to read your own vehicle mileage.

Detailed Suggestion:

As it stands the car industry leading standards for Car dealerships are very niche at the precise moment, I feel like having a mileage system in place would not only boost the economy but tie into the fact of "Speed restrictions" on super cars "the expensive cars", It will be an easy control, no one will be balling around in a 1Mill+ car putting mileage on said vehicle which could de-valuate it per say, the system could be as follows in my own opinion this opens a whole new level of interaction between civs in the city;

£5000 lost per 100 miles on the vehicle so on so fourth, the balancing would be down to how the developers see fit, In my opinion mileage etc would have to be discussed with dealers to get there own opinions on how cars could devaluate.

The Pros:

Economy balance

Potential "speed restrictions" can be settled once and for all as there's the fear of potentially devaluating your car balling around in it 24.7

Whole new interaction level for car dealers & civs

The Cons:

Could potentially be extremely hard to bring fourth

Does this suggestion change balance on the server ?

No

considering the cars have unique plates and imports are a player ran economy the dealers can always do something similar based on how many owners beforehand but its ran by them so they will have biggest say in this aswell as devs

Depricitation due to mileage shoule be done on a case by case basis. it should be decided by the person who is buying the vehicle, not by a set script.

However, doing milage on it's own is pretty pointless. There also needs to be some sort of maintanence fee which comes along with the milage system.  A service needed every 10,000? miles for a regular vehicle 5,000 for the high end cars. Once you get into the higher milage (75-125?) there becomes the risk of engine/transmission failure and an engine/transmission rebuild(or getting a new one) needing to be done. This then adds more aspects on to it. It shouldn't become a thing which has to happen every day, but something which might happen every month or two that needs to be sorted out.  Now I don't know how Mileage works on fivem, and how much people will rack up over the course of a day or a week etc. so the mileage amount would need to be balanced out, but I do see many options and many differnet things being able to stem from a suggestion like this. (When it comes to needing to do some maintainance I am not suggesting it becomes Mechanic Simulator 2021, but just some basic things to spruce up car ownership)

This could also then be carried on to the police vehicles. I know there is one specific BMW interceptor which is used to target the sports cars, and then when that is on down time for a day or so, it means for that day police is unable to respond with as much persuit power. Likewise, this could be carried across to Civ & NPAS vehicles etc.

One we own more than 1 NPAS heli If one is in matinance we just use other and I'm sure they would buy a 2nd interceptor if this was a thing so this means nothing

also after thinking this is not needed. yes cars are expensive but when imports open them cars that are 3 mil will be like less than a mil. Why buy a used car for 3 mil when you can buy that car new for a mil

Down vote, useless idea and overtime players will not buy expensive vehicles overtime due to fear of them breaking down, new players would not find thier way in the city since no car in their price limit is an actual decent car.

I quite like the idea of mileage and service history as long as it's not overkill.

Owning an expensive car with complex engines could have after a large number of miles the need to service or rebuild the engine. In theory unless the vehicle is used a lot everyday this perhaps only needs to occur once a month and the cost could be 1% of the car value or something similar.

It just means owning an excotic or expensive car requires the tender loving care it should expect ❤️

I don't believe there are a lot of benefits to this.
