Using a VPN

I usually use a VPN for my daily internet routines and sosmetimes find myself forgetting it is on because of it barely affecting my connection. I've seen people being kicked off the server for "VPN" and I'm wondering if there is any risk to me using a VPN if I am not using it to evade an IP ban. I try and disable it as often as I remember, but I can forget.

We do not ban for using a VPN however if the server detects one is being used it will kick you from the server as these are not only used by ban evaders / script kiddies they are also sometimes rather slow so we have set that trigger up.

The only issue you might have is that your forum account or ingame account might pop up when someone is looking into a banned players IP
