Upgrading my headset.

What are you after... a all in one headset?

Better mic quality... better audio quality ?

I LOVED my sennheisser headset for years and the sound and mic quality is just simply amazing. Changed to a Razor Kraken 7.1 recently and the sound is good and microphone is ok. Wish I bought a sennheiser again.

Prefeably audio and mic quality, just want an all round upgrade, the mic on my current headset is decent but the audio isn't great.

Also, preferably an all in one headset yeah, i'm open to suggestions though.

I've always heard great things about sennheissers, if i was to buy them, what would you recommend?

Dont really know mate. I havent researched it lately Im just going on the mid range one I had from before.

I have just got the g930 from logitech, although mic quality isn't amazing, the audio is lovely with long battery life. Range is pretty good too.

Price is low for a wireless headset and cuts out the sound of the children playing and the wife watching TV. Now they have to wave at me to get my attention ;)

Yeah can't state how much I love the g35/g930

7.1 virtual surround sound that can ve toggle on/off via hardware switch.

Noise cancelling mic (superb audio quality)

Voice morphing software

If you get the wireless g930 they have a battery life of around 8 hrs and can be charged whist in use.

They are enclose your ear so you don't hear outside sounds much and are very comfy.

When my g35 (wired) broke due to be breaking it by trying to put a wicker hat over it.... I bought the same one again except the g930, which is the wireless version.

Honestly one of the best all round headsets you can get.

Ps avoid razer imo. The mics are very poor.

Bit pricey but the turtle beach z7 is the best headset ive ever owned, nice little audio mixer that sits on the desk aswell which is so powerful, game and teamspeak are on seperate channels so you can always hear your teammates singing christmas carols

Do yourself a favour and just get a decent headset and a decent desk microphone, the money you pay for the headsets rarely goes into the microphone unless you're really forking out a lot of money. My snowball ill be opening on xmas day was 47 quid, not bad for such a versatile bit of kit.

All depends on your environment, trust me in a room with TV 3 kids blade server and my pc right next to me, you want me to use a noise cancelling mic

If your looking for something, and you don't mind it not having surround sound, I use the Sennheiser  G4ME Zero (in white) as my headset for games like Arma 3 and games that generally really on a good mic and sound. This headset has amazing sound quality for gaming and the mic is really good at noise cancelling if you have noisy surroundings. That is the headset that I would recommend and its what I use in my setup.

It costs a lot though (£199) so I would only get it if you don't care about the price.

i set up the astro a40 wired to my laptop with optical cable and the sound quaility is fantastic.
