Hey Dylan, No - you need a new motherboard - your mobo is 1155, the CPU you want is 1150.

The GPU is compatible however.

Sell your old CPU + Mobo to @SGT Drama Lama so he doesnt have a potato, and put the dolla dolla bills towards your new mobo, cpu and gpu

I have an ASUS Republic of Gamers Maximus Ranger VII board - It works very well and is very feature rich, but i got it and y i7 as a bundle deal from Dabs (no longer sold) for about £400 odd.

The ranger motherboard i would recommend to anyone. Would you be just gaming with the pc or would you be rendering or other things? as the intel i5 4690k is a amazing processor for gaming and the i7 4490K is better for the rendering side and gaming ofc.

If you're gonna stick to gaming. get the i5 4690k. also the ranger mobo is good, but if you would like to save some money the z97 series should do aswell.
