UNMC, Medics and Police Event.

This is coming back to the UNMC, medical and police meet up last night, where the new armed response team and some senior medics including myself convoyed to the UNMC checkpoint where we met and had a tour with a UNMC squad. (Great RP coming from UNMC BTW.) The offer of gifts from medics and police were Medical green glow sticks and a police breathalyzer test. We were also asked to enquirer about the NHS having a small team going into UNMC to patrol and provide the NHS service, the UNMC were for the idea, and said they would offer us maximum protection to any medical personnel inside their area.

The question I and the medics whom were involved last night are wanting to ask is if, are all medics able to go in or is it to be treated like red zone where they have to get MTO/Senior medic permission to enter the harsh environment? At this current moment we are treating it with caution and only allowing senior medics to be near the area.

I think that all medics should be allowed in because you rarely get to see the UNMC's amazing role-play.

Ask your CMO about it.

was a pleasure to have you inside our lands, Im glad you enjoyed the tour just a shame you had to witness one of my privates go mentally insane and start chasing imaginary criminals around our checkpoint :D

I believe it should be senior medics (Surgeon or higher) only. Junior medics should only be able to go in with a senior medic. Not on their own.

If there is no senior medics online then thats just unfortunate. Still is a hot zone and C/R will still happen until junior medics can be trained up.

Just my opinion...

I would like to say thank you on behave of the 3 medics who were there last night for that tour! It was really good and hilarious! Dave is an excellent tour guide! And we look forward to operating inside your borders.

NHS is part of the Altis life govenment and since the unmc doesn't want to live under their rules they have a piece of land of their own. i dont really know why they should get the NHS services or even want them in the first place because it is a governmental institution. and they dont want to be any part of that.

HA!

Anyway, to start with:

1) The red zone is not off-limits. Medics can still enter and treat people there. However we do ask that STU and FA refrain entering without a MA or higher with them, as extra caution is required.

2) UMNC Grounds are still off-limits

3) If the higher up's have confirmed we are allowed to enter UMNC Grounds again, then I will look into it. Likely reserved for MA+. However there are some changes/ideas we're looking at revolving Red Zone and UMNC. So stay tuned.

TL;DR

Red Zone MA+

UMNC Off-limits until further notice.

I was told in TS that since last night, UNMC zones were NOT off limits. As a result I went to meet some of the UNMC at the checkpoint and had some fabulous roleplay. I didn't pass the checkpoint however.

Last night was an event which was cleared by myself and the admins.

And rule of thumb, don't cross the checkpoint. Bodies on our side can be helped, but consider informing UMNC if it's very close to them.

Ok so I think that needs discussed if senior medics can go in under certain circumstances, but I think it should be treated like red zone.

Do not enter UNMC area until it has been discussed and CMO has said so.
