UNMC Checkpoint Attack: Official Statement from Mayor Jay of Sofia

Greetings Citizens of Free Altis and beyond, it is with a heavy heart and hand that I must write about such an appauling act in our Free lands, but as many of you are already aware, the UNMC checkpoint into our beloved Free Altis was brutally attacked by the British Goverment's Armed Forces in the early hours of Saturday, 8th November and the UNMC forces sustained heavy casualties.

Enlisting the support of many liberated citizens of Free Altis they have now have retaken control of this vital part of the territory and pushed the aggressors back. Travel is again safe in our haven Sofia and the surrounding land, and I have the assurance from UNMC representatives that they have increased security and patrols of the border and surrounding area to ensure all of potential customers and citizens are safe from the oppressive forces of Her Majesty's "finest".

Word has reached my ear that a small uprising of UNMC sympathisers was quickly quelled in the city of Kavala after hearing about this audacious attack. Fear not my oppressed brothers and sisters. Soon, my will, alongside the will of the UNMC will liberate all of Altis and we can live on this land once again as free men.

it was a sad day for the unmc with many of our brothers lost, but  even though the battle was lost the war is far from over !!!

Our common goals and hatred of the ever present oppressing government will unite us into a force to be reckoned with. The daring actions of those who fell in the Kavala Uprising will never be forgotten. Those who lost their lives in the cowardly attack on the UNMC border will never be forgotten. These heroes live on in the hearts and minds of their loved ones.

Viva la Revolution! Hasta la victoria siempre!
