Hello!

Me and my friend were on a run earlier today and he got a random bad wich both of us dont understand. 

Here is what happend:

We stopped a guy and roleplayed that we were going to rob him, then he told us that he had friends in a helicopter, then we said that it was a joke and drove away. Then he randomly shot after us when we left, and we turned around and killed him. 

After that we drove away from the scene and we a helicopter was chasing us. This was when me and my friend split up so we could try to survive and maybe defend ourselfs against this gang. So i drove the car to distract them, while my friend tried to shot them down. This was all defensive moves because they kept shooting after us for no reason at all. no voice from them, or no text. we simply defended ourselfs.

Then my friend shot down the helicopter and i got a kill on one of them and he killed me. 

After all this my friend got banned. i want a reason. why? we followed the rules and i dont see what he had done wrong.

This ban seems like a "unmature" way of a admin loosing he`s helicopter. is this really allowed?

Wasn't me, myself and the concerned have had this discussion already.

I'd further like to add, that Jim Beam was actually trying to ask me for the reason of this in side chat, despite being told that we do not discuss bans in side chat by myself and Wilco. I then actually had Rigmor message me on Teamspeak and advised himself that I have not banned anyone by the name of Rigmor, I've even checked my ban logs which are updated on a daily basis by myself. I also asked the real Rigmor to contact Jim Beam and advise him to stop asking for the reason of the ban and definitely to stop calling me immature in side chat.

Once again, I did not ban anyone by the name of Rigmor and these events are absolute news to me.

Edit:

While reviewing a person I banned on 6th January by the name of 'Donny Vito', I entered the ban command for said person, the value came back as [QUICK] Rigmor.

Please stand by while I message Wilco regarding this.

I apologize Kris. For misunderstanding and calling you inmature. The reason why i got pissed was because it looked like a admin lost a helicopter and perm banned my friend for it.. So again, im sorry Kris for misunderstanding. I hope we find a solution to all this.

That's not a problem, I'm a forgiving person!

I've discussed this with Vladic, essentially what has happened is I've been VDM'd by someone with a completely different name, issued a ban to said person. Since the person I had meant to ban combat logged, the admin commands have then issued a ban to someone with the closest name, who happened to be [QUICK] Rigmor.

So you were half right, in theory I did indeed ban Rigmor, however it was due to silly admin commands and NOT intentional. I'll approve this thread and it'll be moved to the correct forum, I'll attempt to contact Wilco later this afternoon and explain the situation also.

A video can be provided if there's any concern also.
