Unban request - RickDB (Completed 27/09/2014)

Hi,

My name is RickDB, I joined  the community around 3 months ago. AltisLife was the first server I played on, and it's still the only one, because of the great community.

When I started playing, I was a big, big big noob. Well, I knew what MG and RDM (and many more rules, but do not apply here) was, because I played many years SA-MP before. In 3 months, I played on the server around 360 HOURS. That means I've played 15 whole days, non-stop. My friend, Adriaan was like RDM, rob everyone you see, but I learned him that he can't do that. I've seen the RP quality going down. When I joined there was a lot of RP, now it is just hey I see a pig, shoot. Hey, I see a guy walking, rob. Do you do that in real life, I don't think so?

A few weeks ago, I joined the NHS. I was very happy about that, and in the first weeks I was definetly the most active medic ingame. I want to thank Wilco for giving me the opportunity.

A few days ago, I joined the force. I did all my modules in 3 days, usually you need to do module 1-4 and wait for 2 days, then you can do module 5. So today there was a promotion party, I got promoted as PSCO. It's really fun to be in the force, but sometimes I just have to play as civillian with my friends (not playing alone as a civ anymore).

So today, there was a guy called NL Zinder. After the server restart, he randomly shot Adriaan, after that he shot me. He was spawning back in Pygros, so he was breaking the NLR. After that, he killed Adriaan again, because he didn't give the keys of his orca. Funny thing, Adriaan didn't even got the keys, he was lockpicking it.

Then I was coming, I was walking to the general store or garage because my car was crashed. Just walking.. boom.. PUT YOUR HANDSUP! I didn't even know from where, before I realised that I was getting robbed, or maybe killed, just like he did before?

AltisLife's slogan is Serious Roleplay Community, what is roleplay if you can just shoot on sight at the bank, rob everyone you want, even if you don't know if they have money, shoot all the cops you see? The RP decreased. But how is it possible to control a server with only 5 people (according to the forums) that can do shit ingame? If I had to report everything I saw, then I had to make like 100-200 reports, roughly said.

So I dropped some smoke grenades, why is that not RP? I was trying to disable his view, because he was in cover, I had the time to do it. What's not RP about that?  If I didn't, I'd be killed earlier.

I heard from someone that you can combatlog if someone killed you that was breaking the server rules, don't know his name anymore. Anyways, NL Zinder was breaking the NLR and it was shit RP what he did, that's not a rule ofcourse.

I don't see any reason to ban me, simply because I got around 360 hours in the server, and because of that it won't happen again.

You heard from someone isnt going to cut it... The rules are the rules unless you see myself state you can break the rules for certain reasons then its not ok to do so.

The ban was for exploiting... the RP was poor because there was no interaction made with this person...If someone breaks the rules then report it yourself... if you engage roleplay and they break it again then report it... who knows they might not.

The Video i watched was from Snickersbar... i didnt see him break any rules in that video... just yourself exploiting ?

Maybe he recorded his whole gameplay and got a video of that aswell? He edited the video. I'm not going to report players anymore, just because most of the time nothing happends and it takes a lot time to do. I'd rather spent that ingame.

That is not what he is trying to say. He is trying to say that he is dedicated to the game. Not that it makes him immune to bans.

Indeed, it doesn't give me the right not to be banned. But I think how longer you play, how more you know.

Anyway, back to the topic. If Rick is seriously sorry for this then he can redeem his chance now.

Edit: Just saw your new post Rick, if you post back here saying that you have re-read the rules and post your GUID too I will look into taking action on the unban. I would advise that you try to make better attempts in these RP situations.
