I understand that ignorance of the rules isn't really an excuse. However, I apologise whole-heartedly for breaking the 'no-landing in green zone rule'.
I did receive a text message from two individual officers telling me I would be fired upon if I landed there again. Me - being the risk taker I am, attempted to land again - I received a message from a CnC clan member telling me it was bannable.
Having received two prior messages telling me I would be fired upon I did still take off as sharp as possible and immediately apologised to the police force (via global text message) that I was mis-informed and now understood the offence was bannable.
It is with great regret that I have overlooked this ruling - particularly as I have seen others do it plenty of times.
Finally, I would like to add - on a more personal note - that as a founder and maintainer of a busy community, I understand that the staff and admins put up with a lot of shit from the player base; such as moaning, abuse complaints and the like, not to mention the barrage of 'FIX THIS' and 'UNBAN ME PLS' and 'SO-AND-SO IS ABUSING BAN HIM PLS'. So whenever relevant, I do like to thank the police and staff for their hard work and sacrifices in maintaining a successful and thriving community (because I know how hard it can be sometimes).
Previously I have informed the admins and police that their RP is fantastic and I always try to role-play to the best of my ability.
This may seem a little kiss ass, but what's wrong with being humble?

- SN My friend 'Brutal' was banned for the same offence. He landed as it was 'the plan' he was following at the time, laid out be me. If he needs to make a separate ban request, I shall inform him so. But he doesn't need to suffer for my poor judgement.
