Reason given for your ban: (G2.3) Forum Report - Roleplay Everything
In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned from RPUK as I broke character multiple times speaking out of character and bringing outside issues into rolepaly and did not roleplay my death properly, talking to players as if I wasn't injure
Why should we unban you ?: I feel i should be unbanned as i made a mistake and i learnt from it, i broke the same rule two times on each rule break which was outright stupid of me, the first time i received a warning from staff and i guess i didn't take their advice onboard, i then went on to make the same mistake which showed me i should have taken the advice from staff and improved my roleplay.
Not acting on my injuries there is no excuse for and I will 100% put more effort into this as I know the rule G4.4 is there to ensure the roleplay is enjoyable for both sides to have some good RP and it should be high quality also. I provided poor RP and I 100% learnt from this.
I also broke on a few occasions rule G2.3 which is to roleplay everything and not break character, this rule is in place to ensure the RP is immersive for all sides and to make it more realistic and enjoyable, by me breaking character i ruined that aspect for people within RP. I received a warning the first time, the 3rd time I was banned for two days as staff pulled me, but the 2nd time It was a report of a player.
I learnt from the 3rd time and took time to reflect, i came back from the 2 day ban for the 3rd time and expected this permanent ban to be a result of the 2nd time. On this last 2 day ban I took the time to re-read all the rules and get a better understanding of RPUK. This is my first permanent ban and I can truly say I have learnt my lesson and want to bring the best RP I possibly can to RPUK. My poor standard of RP ruined a few scenes and after taking time to reflect I would do future RP a lot differently, we are here to play our characters and if I reversed the roles I myself would be very disappointed also.
If I get myself into an RP Situation like this in the future I will Act out my injuries, and I will not talk OOC in the city. I have received some advice from staff which will help me in future scenes and ill treat RPUK like it's real and I'll use my common sense in new scenes.
I fully understand why I was banned and really hoping for a second chance, a lot of exciting RP lies ahead of Ross, he has just joined a gang FE-13 and is looking forward to his new role and a whole new aspect to RP. This will allow me to excel within RPUK and have a whole different view to roleplay.
I'd really like to also reflect that on 23/01 when I was unbanned from my 2 day ban I really put in to play my improvements and I hope to continue these changes if I am successful in my appeal.
