In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned for sharing my death location outside of the city and therefore getting help inside of the city on a friends alternative character. This lead to us both being banned for our foolish actions. The sharing of my location was meta gaming and the meeting of a friend was poor character separation. I know and understand these rules and apologise for my lapse in judgement. I plead guilty for my actions.

Why should we unban you ?: I am guilty of what I did and I know what I did at the time was wrong. In the spur of the moment I was panicking and made ill-decisions when I should have taken the time to take a breath and accept my fate with it. I hope I can be unbanned as this city has provided me some amazing moments which I hope to make more of with the friends I have made in the city. I understand my actions have consequences, I was honest with the staff in the moment leading to my ban because I knew I had done wrong. I do apologise for wasting staff time with my stupid actions. I would like to come back to the city always knowing that the staff are on high alert to avoid making the same mistake again. I am sorry for letting the community and my friends down, I am embarrassed to find myself here and hope to never have to show my face here again. I thank the 2 staff members that took the time to talk to me and my friend on the roof and being polite and understanding. I thank whoever takes the time to read my appeal and apologise for wasting your time with my stupid mistakes.

What was the thought process.

You were honest, I do remember you laying your cards full on the table, which gives me more hope, given this is your first ban too, I'm worried you might go down a path, barely a few recover from. - How can I be sure you won't go down said path? Let's say I unban you, how can I be sure you won't end up here again, month, two from now on.

What was your roleplay so far as Olivia Eagle, what is the lore? What has she achieved, what are her ultimate goal(s), strengths, weaknesses.

Why do this:

I died in the most ridiculous of ways which angered me and upset me, I was running to benefactor on foot through the alleyways behind it, I was about to jump down to a flight of stairs when my character decided to trip and fall to her death (You could argue her heel broke) I had some things on me of value which in hindsight is not worth being banned for. I mentioned OOC that I had died in a stupid location in a stupid way hence led to the metagaming. It was extremely stupid and a poor decision from my behalf.

I've had the pleasure of being apart of this community now for roughly 5 months I think, during this time I've received 1 verbal warning from staff for a lack of my knowledge on the rules, since then I made a great effort to familiarise myself with the rules and abide to them to the best of my ability. Like you said when we spoke, we are human and we make mistakes, I hope you see that this was a poor move by myself a fully hold my hands up to what I did, I felt guilty for it hence why I was also so honest with you. With the effect of a perm ban against me I am embarrassed and ashamed to be here, I do not want to find myself here again in public where everyone can see what a stupid mistake I've made. I would like to give you my word that I would never like to be here again, I like to think of myself better than this and with the punishment given and the speed of it all I know there is no leniency to the rules which I highly respect. 

What was your roleplay so far as Olivia Eagle, what is the lore? What has she achieved, what are her ultimate goal(s), strengths, weaknesses.:

Olivia Eagle has developed the nickname Crystal given to her by friends and associates. She was originally in the first Occult which was very much a poor group with very little planning incorporated, she then joined her friends in the Changaloa's where her hard work and determination helped her quickly climb the ranks. During this time of her life, she developed goals of having a large amount of money in her account to have the ability to buy what she wants when she wants. After the fall of Changaloa's she joined Whiskey in reviving The Occult but to do it right this time with the experience and knowledge she has gained in the city. Crystal now has a good amount of money saved up and focuses her efforts on making sure people in the group are getting on and helping each other. To sum it up, Crystal has achieved a good amount of wealth along with very good friends she can rely on. She has achieved some great RP events hosted by The Occult which fill her with joy to bring smiles to people’s face. Crystals strengths, she is well organised and coordinated, she likes to make sure everything is being done in a certain fashion and everything adds up. She is becoming well known around the city for good reasons (I hope) and getting praise from others for the good work. Weaknesses: Crystal can be anxious when getting to know people and takes a while to trust people because of previous experiences and how some men treat/expect woman to act. Crystal doesn't show a firm authoritative hand as she doesn't want to be the hated individual, she likes to take the time to hear everybody out and deal with things accordingly while leaving the harsher punishments to others.

What is the most memorable RP scenario you've been apart of? 

Let's rewind the clock back, you're in the same situation, what do you do?

This might sound biased but the Occult party we held still sits very firmly in my memory as I was blown away by the overwhelming attendance and everybody's creativity flowing wild. It was great to see so many different costumes and talk to people I would have never spoken to before. I personally had a lot of fun considering it was just talking and dancing.

Apart from that The Occult had to do a massive investigation which involved a lot of thinking and puzzling to solve a problem, this was something I never saw myself doing in the city but had a lot of fun doing it.

If I find myself in the same situation the first thing, I'll think about is where it led me last time. Then I'll accept my fate, respawn, buy a phone and radio, and ask for some help after waking up from a headache.

G3.1: More commonly known as Metagaming. Metagaming is the act of taking knowledge obtained outside of your character and using that for yours or somebody else's benefit.

I personally broke this rule when I was incapacitated. I communicated to somebody via an external platform and told them what happened to me to influence them to help me.

This rule is important because the game is not always about winning much like life you will occasionally lose. If you take information gained from external sources into the city, you are giving your character benefits over everybody else.

G3.5: To separate characters and maintain different lives between them. For example, of you have 2 characters but both your characters suddenly know 1 person that is poor character separation. All characters must meet and get to know somebody regardless if you already know them.

I broke this rule by already knowing the NHS working who came to my aid, with minimal RP and interaction.

This rule is equally important because if people didn't separate characters there would be no need of getting to know people are build trust, for example if you buy drugs from person A for long period of time they will eventually offer you a discount, but if you go on a different character and go to person A again you shouldn't get that same discount as you've cheated all that time you've spent gaining trust.

I hope we're well today. 

I'm hopefully that this is a one off, you've put all of your cards on the table when we dealt with you and admitted to it all, no avoiding the questions, no beating around the bush. 
That in itself gives me more hope in you, and in this honestly being a one time off. 
I do hope I am correct in stating this, do not make me regret this decision! 

Now to summarize it all; 
- On the day of your unban any ban within the next 6 months will automatically be a permanent ban. 
If you're banned again, cooldown may be applied to you. 

 I do hope in the future if something of that level was to happen again I hope you accept the fate your character has got herself into, and understand that sometimes we lose in video games. 
I also hope that we will not be seeing each other on the forums again, keep the high quality rp going, I will look forward to seeing it.
