In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned for meta gaming back in February with another member of the community and let ooc words change my decisions ingame.

Why should we unban you ?: I’ve had a long time to think about what to say on this unban appeal but more importantly I have had more time to reflect on my previous attitude and actions towards the community. I clearly haven’t gave it my %100 in the past by allowing myself to slip up and break the rules. Whilst I’ve been apart of the community I’ve tried my best to be positive in all situations I’ve been in and try to make it fun for both sides whatever the situation may be as many people I’ve interacted with can tell you.

Now over a year and a half has passed since I’ve been apart of the community and I’ve loved every minute of it, especially meeting new people along the way. These last 6 months I’ve been banned has given me a lot to reflect on and made me realise what I’m really missing out on. I fully understand the mistakes I’ve made and wish I could take it all back but can only change what I do going forward.

Now going onto why I was banned and at the time I hadn’t thought much about what I was doing at the time but now realise I let myself get persuaded to use information gained from discord to go to a certain location to see what was going on, my original intentions were to not act on anything but after I had seen for myself what was going on in the general area I acted. But I agree now that it was in fact meta gaming due to me going to the location in the first place.

I do truly apologise for my actions and I will do my best to not let this happen again if I’m given the opportunity to return.

Looking over this appeal and knowing what landed yourself with us I do have something I'd like to ask first off. Indeed this was 6 months ago that you was banned, Why wasn't you honest within the report overall? 

Since looking over all the responses you was attempting to stand your ground on breaking the rules and trying to make excuses for this. Lets say we push forward with the appeal and you do something wrong, Can we trust that you will be honest with us down the line or will you try and make excuses ? 

It's good that you recognise that you was slipping up, Can you give me some insight to why this was happening and how this can be prevented?

At the time had a strong belief it wasn’t metagaming due to me not going through with anything rp altering suggested at the time but then realised it was because for me being along grove street in the first place.

To my knowledge I wasn’t dishonest with anything I said at the time on the reports just hadn’t seen it as metagaming at the time but be assured I’d never intentionally lie or be dishonest towards the staff as I know it gets you nowhere. Take my first ban for example I was fairly new to the server at the time and when got pulled into team speak regarding it I never lied at all but the ban still went ahead and feel I have learned from those mistakes. I do understand that it was metagaming just by going near the location from what I heard. I won’t make excuses in future it was just my opinion at the time.

With your last paragraph it’s true talking to people ooc whilst playing is a bad idea due to anything being able to slip into RP if you allow it, I believe it happened due to it just being the normal routine of just chatting in discord while playing and that's how I believe it got to this point. In future I will aim to not be in discord at all while playing so rp stays in rp.

Indeed you are correct, Lying in general isn't a good idea as it doesn't get anyone far in the grand scheme of things. Looking over your history with us you have managed to get five bans including this one and two of such are permanent bans, On top of this you also have two warnings. 

We have been lenient with yourself as you could appreciate by the amount of chances you have had, More so allowing you to come back from a previous permanent ban. Whilst you have stated you have had time to reflect on your mistakes, How can we be sure you will follow the rules this time?

During my time away I've recognised how much I value the community and my place in it and wouldn't want to do anything to jeopardize my position and hope I can be given that chance to prove to myself and staff that I can be better for the community and help it grow.

Looking over the report that was made back in February and how you are coming across in the appeal it does seem like you have learned from what you have done, Also what you shouldn't do. 

As mentioned in my first response you have recognised that you was slipping up as a whole. In relation to talking ooc, There is nothing wrong with talking to others and more so friends you have made throughout your time in the community. We will all make lifelong friendships from the shared interests we hold, However as you are aware any information found ooc is to stay ooc and not to be brought in nor used in roleplay unless you do find out about things in game. 

Due to how you are conducting yourself within your appeal and responses given I'm not going to drag your appeal out however there we're a few things I did wish to have answered before making my decision within your appeal. 

I'm happy with the information you have provided more so you acknowledge that you can roleplay and provide interesting experiences for others that come across yourself. Yes you have made mistakes and we have given you multiple chances to show you are going to follow the rules and do as you have said.

I'll extend the olive branch and allow you to come back into the community and I do hope you don't waste this opportunity being provided to yourself, I don't want to look back and regret giving you this chance. This is a thin line you are on due to the amount of chances you have been provided. This is your time to show us that you aren't the same person and that you have indeed learned from your actions that you've said has happened.

Believe it goes without saying, If you do slip up then you will be met with a permanent ban and end up right back here and as you may guess it will be harder to get another chance should you get a third permanent ban.
