In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: The ban would of been in relation to a sarcastic and yes somewhat childish comment I made to another member of this community via discord this morning (please see below for ref)

Why should we unban you ?: I don't believe a full discord ban was warranted for this and feel other actions could of been used prior and maybe communicated with myself before such a decision was made, Obviously i did not expect the recipient to take this comment to heart so much as it was made in a banterish/jokey manner with no malice or ill intent and/or profanity, discriminatory or derogatory terms used as this was merely a sarcastic and yes somewhat childish remark to a comment she had made, as are hundreds of others made by people in this community everyday, Obviously i have overstepped and upset someone for which i do offer my sincere apologies, however! i do believe Kates actions somewhat escalated the situation and blew this far out of proportion then what it originally was, i would also like to point out what she said to me in response (ref below)

This to me seems far more hateful and more of a direct attack at myself and completely uncalled for when compared to my comment.

But i would like to make it clear, I in no way shape or form condone bullying or harassment but if i have truly upset and hurt someones feelings i would like to sincerely apologise, as it was not my intention at all when i made this comment, I do feel however she could of very easily blocked me at any point, or simply asked a staff member to have a word with me in private regarding this if she truly felt that this was a personal attack on her which of course wasn't,

As i have never been spoken too or made aware i was simply not to know, i would also like to add that in recent light i have been made aware that this individual may or may not suffer from certain disabilities or personal issues which i believe may of resulted in the situation being taken more seriously and therefore resulting in the ban itself,

I would like to say here and now, I am not aware of any issues/problems/disabilities or factors outside of this game surrounding this persons personal life nor is it any of my business to know, therefore i would be extremely disheartened if this ban was in result OR was impacted by these external factors and the decision making process surrounding it,

I have been a member of this community for over 2 years and cannot recall a time where i have been taken side or talked too by any staff or moderators regarding my attitude and/or behaviours to others when it comes to the use of discord and other communication platforms.

I am more than happy to have a mature discussion about this over TS or Discord should needs be.

Appreciate you taking the time to look over my ticket today.

So,

Much like the comment that got you banned in the first instance, there are other comments from yourself directed to LilPanda where it’s more or less the same sarcastic and childish comments.

I want you to put yourself into her shoes, imagine all the sarcastic comments, slating that goes on within police-members directed at her. As well as all the shit she receives in game, which you could say ‘That’s all RP’…is it though?

Now, I’m not saying that you’re the main repeat offender in game but you are one of them in Discord.

Kate was already spoken to by myself due to her comment towards you, warnings were given due to the one comment over your many comments spanning close to a year.

Please do the following:

So yes i do understand what you are saying and that this would take its toll on someone and i can appreciate its not a nice thing to do, although i have not said or done anything in game i do agree the sarcastic memes and comments are not nice and over a period of time and specially when coming from others as well can take a toll on someone and effect their mood greatly,

I will do better moving forward and would like to apologise for my actions,

I will go ahead and lift your ban. However, any more ganging up on someone and making them clearly feel uncomfortable and upset will be met with a much harsher punishment. Learn from this and move on.
