In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: To be honest, no idea, genuinely.
Why should we unban you ?: I'd like to start off by asking whichever staff is reviewing this to please read all of it and not just dismiss this appeal. Thank you.
Right, to go though all the events, something was streamed to which I had no idea what was going to be part of this video, I watched it all until the stream was taken down. Shortly after I was asked into TS by Liam to which I told him I would join shortly as I was in the middle of a raid on Tarkov.
Now I joined this TeamSpeak call along with Kina and Bas, which we shortly after found out wasn't Bas it was someone else who is 1.6d. You questioned us if we had watched the video to which I had told you yes I had because I have no reason to lie and then as to how this person knew to join under the name Bas to which Kina confirmed to you he put it in a discord that all 3 of us had been called to TS. You then claim to have heard through someones microphone a discord streaming sound. I will tell you the same thing here as I did back in the TS meeting, I didn't hear any discord noise especially as myself and Kina were sat deafened in a Tarkov discord and had been for the past God knows how many hours playing a game which has nothing to do with RPUK.
Now you dragged Kina into a different channel and I'm unsure as to what was said in there but after nearly 10 minutes of being sat in a call by myself Liam joins and tells me I have 2 options, tell the truth about who was streaming or we both get 1.6d. I told Liam and the rest of the staff later the truth, that we were sat in a whole different discord playing Tarkov. I get that the staff were having to deal with a whole lot of issues at that moment in time but I don't believe it's fair how I was asked for the truth, told you the truth and then still get a C1.6. This doesn't line up with the "honesty is key" motto that's always being thrown around.
You dragged us into the same channel and then asked us the same question again to which you got the same exact truth from the both of us. The reply to us and I quote "well we THINK you're lying" and "well we don't believe you". Now I ask, how is this fair that because you 'think' we're lying I deserve to be 1.6d? I have been a part of the community for a little over a year and have been banned previously for some questionable stuff however I don't believe being 1.6d is fair at all.
At the point of this TS call, I was aware of the things happening with 229 as I am friends with some of the people who were still in there however, I hadn't even been involved with 229 for the past 3 months and spent most of my time either in the Apostles discord or in a completely unrelated discord.
Moving forward, when the real Bas joined after we had already been 1.6d I believe he asked you why we were banned to which whatever staff was dealing with him said "they weren't helping with the investigation". Now, this makes no sense to me as the only 2 questions I was asked were "did you watch the video" and "who's streaming this on discord", to which I told you the truth to both as I genuinely have no reason to lie.
Now to why I should be unbanned, hoping you read all of what I said, I would genuinely like to understand how this ban is fair at all. I should be unbanned as I actually have not done anything wrong, at all.
