In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned due to logging on during an on-going situation
Why should we unban you ?: Hello Staff, since being banned for around a month and a half now I have had a lot of time to think over my past actions and come up with what I feel is a reasonable response. Now to start, I do feel the cooldown was quite harsh but with every staff decision there is a good reason behind it as I have come to learn and in the past I may have acted against staff a lot of time as I thought that you lot were being irrational and were out to ban me but obviously this isn't true and everything you do is for the good of the community.
I will admit that I logged on after watching Omizz's stream to help him out, this was completely wrong of me to do and it makes sense as to why I was banned for it, the term used commonly is "hop on squad" and that is essentially what I did. The decisions I made weren't done to hinder the experiences of others nor were they meant to have malicious intent behind them I was just bored at the time and wanted to get on the server, it was unfortunate timing but nonetheless I shouldn't have logged on after seeing his steam. I would like to add that even though I logged on full well knowing what was going on OOC I didn't take that information in character until I had been told in-game.
To prevent a ban or any sort of confusion like this in the future, I would leave the Marabunta discord prior to logging on, this is a simple and easy fix as discord logs would show who is connected to the voice channels.
Since I've been gone I have spent my time doing many different things, one thing that might interest staff is I've been playing on a whitelisted server where roleplay is top-notch and the rules are very strict. I have learnt a great amount from this server in the 3 weeks that I've actively playing on it, one important thing I learnt was how to act more like your character, what I mean by this is all too often on RPUK do people act nothing like the character they portray. I mainly mention this as it has come to my attention that staff don't want specific groups of players on the server known as "fraggers", I can assure staff I do not fall into these set of players, I have always provided the best quality RP I can and have not been a fan of a lot of the wars that have been happening recently due to the poor rp behind them and what comes out of them.
Whilst I've been banned the gang "Syndicate" disbanded and a few members have decided to hangaround for Marabunta, many are very new to server and I have found this the perfect opportunity to help them grow as roleplayers and prevent them from making the same mistakes I first made when I joined the server and later on with this meta-gaming ban. I've been watching the clips they have been sending in showing the situations against Changaloos and advising them on how to improve their rp in the future as they still have much to learn, acting as a sort of mentor. The same goes for the Brown gang as well, many of them are new players and as such their rp isn't the best so its our job as members of a whitelisted gang to change that, if all we do after we dodgy them is shoot and dump them in some mountain they'll do the same which would just create a cycle of poor rp.
Finally, I would like to thank staff for taking the time to read my appeal and I do apologise for wasting your time recently, I have many commitments coming up in my life that will take me away from FiveM for months at a time so I would love to spend the free time I have left playing on RPUK.
