Why do you think you were banned: i called someone over the phone and said sup my faggot where you at to someone i know for a long time in a joking way to find out where they were ingame
Why should we unban you: i have taken some time to reflect on what i have done and the capacity i have done it in and the impact of it and especially the word i used in that case and i fully realize that words can cause emotional pain wich was not my intention to cause to the person i used it against or anyone in my surrounding area of the time of using it and if i have caused emotional pain or distress i'm truely sorry about and if it has caused a bad time for them on the server i only can once again only apologize for it and i now see as well that it was not my smarties move to address the person this way as i could have done it in so many ways wich was a very dump thing of me to do and i fully know as well that my big mouth has gotten me already in some hot waters since i joined the community in 2017/2018 for the mentioned above i used rule C1.12 Sensitive roleplay as a guidance as using the word i used can be sensitive for some people and if fully understand why it can be a sensitive topic for those people and if i had know there were people in the area that had an issue with me using it i would not have done it or if they would have come to me and asked me not to use it again then i would have respected there wish and apologize to them for using it there and then

I dont think you are understanding? Would different people being around you have made a difference in this ban? Not at all, it was something said that you would know is not allowed nor accepted here.

As i have stated i used rule C1.12 as a guidance since there are other different words that get used and can be seen as sensitive to words other people and usually is not a problem and in a lack of judgment on my part i used a slur that is used as a homophobic one even if it only gets used one it wil be seen as being homophobic to words another person wich was never my intention

this rule is in place to ensure that all people no matter their religion, disabilities, sexuelprefrens ect can play the server without being targeted and harassed and discriminate by other people based on the mentioned above

You've been in this community since 2020, you know that this word is against the server rules.
I absolutely do not believe you when you say it was a lapse in judgement and that you used the rule as a guidance...

If another player was to say this word around you, I wouldn't mind betting you'd make staff aware, or potentially report it as you know that this is against the rules.
So still, even though Jessie has asked the questions I do not understand why you've said this word.

Schame to hear you do not believe a man that's being honest here but i'll try to explain my thought process to you you and therefore for i'll take you back to the end of the arma 3 days and the beginning of fivem as at that point everything that was of such nature was a instant perm ban but two separate incidents occurred where a player made someone out for a retard and he got a permanent ban and a day or so later a staff member did the same thing and how at first did not get a ban after which several members of the community made a fuss about it the staff member received a 3 day ban and the ban of the other player got turned in to a 3 day ban instead of a permanent ban and iud my memory serves me correctly since that point rule C1.12 became a thing and it became generally excepted to use it with in role play and now back to current day my thought process was if it is not done with malicious intent and if the person or others around ask not to use the word again then i won't do it again and thats why i stand by what i have said i said it under the guidance of rule 1.12 as explained above and as i have said it is a labs of my judgement of going of things that have happened in the past

For me this is all about contacts if someone was to say it once to me within roleplay and without malicious intent i personally could not care but if a person starts to keep saying it to my self or others it is very clear that there is malicious intent behind it and the person has been requested to stop it then yes it would be reported to staff

As you can imagine, we see appeals like this often and for someone who's been here for such a long period of time it does become difficult to believe they're not familiar with this rule.
I do appreciate you explaining this further, and it does indeed give me a better understanding as to why it's happened.

How can I assure that moving forward, nothing like this will be said from you again?
On top of this, I would suggest reading over the server rules again in case there are any others like this that you may have a lapse in judgement on.
