Reason given for your ban: C2.2 - exploiting

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I wasn't initially sure why I was banned but I opened an appeal to ask and got a response from a staff member with the question: "Tell me about your characters that you make and delete?"
I'm still not exactly sure why I was banned but if this was the reason then I have a response to it.

Why should we unban you ?: If the reason I was banned was for my character creation and deletion:
I was trying to create a character that was a successful gambling addict and had lots of money so that I could build a roleplay backstory up around him. He would be the cousin to my main character but they would have completely different personalities and backgrounds.

Like I say I'm happy if you want anymore insight on why I was doing this but I am still a bit confused. :/

So what happened to the other characters that you made and deleted?

I’m not gunna sit here and lie to you; i didn't manage to win big at the casino so i deleted them and tried again til i would win an ample amount to build the character up.

 
In retrospect.... yes. I can see that obviously it doesn't necessarily effect other people and their roleplay experiences but I can see how it looks on me; it looks like someone just trying to make cash, buy flash things and then just mess about and not actually providing a proper roleplay experience. I can assure you that those were not my intentions and I will not being doing it again due to the effect it clearly has on the staff's perception of me.

The amount of times I hear players say "I making a character that is a gambling addict" but your not, your making multiple characters gambling all the money and if you loose you delete that character and try again, your not developing the roleplay on those characters you basically killed those character without any roleplay. Why would I unban someone that is just trying to get a quick start?

You also agreed to follow the Rules and you have broke C2.2 - Exploiting & G5.7 - Characters must have Long Term Growth.

What is your purpose of playing on this server?

What I stated above was what I was trying to do but obviously what you have said is what it looks to be like.

"What is your purpose of playing on this server?" - I really was just trying to broaden my possibilities and have a wider range of interactions but it has given the impression I am just "trying to get a quick start". I really do want to play on this server that's why I have come back after all this time because I know its one of the games where you aren't limited so much and can do whatever you want (within reason)

At the end of the day its not you or anyone else's fuck up - it's mine so I'm the one that has to live with the consequences and I can completely see where you are coming from regardless of the situation's outcome.

I see that your last ban was over a year ago and have been clean since then,

So I am going to give you another opportunity to prove yourself,

With that being said if you are found breaking more rules within the next 6 months you will go back on a permanent ban,

Due to the reasons you have been banned for your characters has been wiped of their money, vehicles, houses ect,
