In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I believe I was banned for logging out shortly after being shot at by other players after being chased by them from the hospital.

Why should we unban you ?: I believe I should be given another chance because this was purely a mistake on my part. Me and my friend Lewis Smith were driving around late at night meeting new people and having interactions, at around 1am my friend mentioned about how he was getting off soon due to the time, which I was too. Every 5 mins we were so absorbed in the game we were like 'just another 5 minutes' etc. About 10-15 minutes before the incident had happened, I was parked at the hospital and was stopped by a Blue car that rammed into the side of me, in retaliation I did the same back and thought that was that. I then realised as I pulled away that I was being followed but I eventually lost them, this is when I picked my friend back up as he was in the hospital while this happened. We continued to drive around Legion area as that's where it tends to be busy. Sometime shortly after I realise that the Blue car from earlier has now found me again and is also following me again. After a short while of being followed we start to see shots flying by the sides of the car coming from the Blue car and that's when I picked up the speed to get us away, I also do not believe I was struck by any of these bullets. At this point it was about 1:20AM and we had literally just lost them. I continued to drive for around 1-2 minutes before we parked up and disconnected from the server. Because we were heading off to Bed, the fact that we had just been getting shot at and chased had completely slipped my mind.

@Sxdler01Like I have explained to your friend as well. There wasn't a 1-2 minute period where it looked  like you had lost them. It was in the region of 10-20 seconds. This would be plenty of time for them to have found you and engaged in more RP.

If you knew that you were going to log off soon, why did you repeatedly engage in ramming vehicles, which naturally led to a response and chase from them?

When we believed that we had escaped, we had gained some distance and in my rear view I could see police in what I thought was chasing the Blue car for the reason of shooting at us. After that when I drove away and parked up to log off, I did not see them at all so believed we were fully away, I was not aware they were still in pursuit. However I do agree that we both should of waited a good while longer before logging out but like I mentioned before that had completely slipped my mind as I thought the chase was fully over.

As for me saying it was 1-2 minutes, that was genuinely a guess which is why I said 1-2 rather than a specific time. It was late, and as I mentioned it had slipped my mind, so that specific incident was not on my mind until I realized the next day that I was banned and I took that educated guess.

I cannot excuse getting myself into chases that late knowing I had to log off, all I can say is that the ban took me by surprise and really made me realize that I need to be more aware of what I am doing and the possible consequences. That being said, this has showed me how much I do enjoy playing the server and how I miss playing. I can assure you that this will not happen again and I will take this as a lesson learnt.

(C2.3) Combat logging - Logging out at any point during RP is exploiting. Some examples of this include: logging out during a firefight, being chased by the police, arrested by the police, while dead awaiting a medic, logging out in order to save gear, rage-quitting, logging out whilst restrained/detained. Punishment is a permanent ban. Staff can make an informed decision depending on if you’ve made an attempt to resolve the issue. We do suggest you attempt to rejoin the server and continue the roleplay (try messaging them with the mobile system first).

This rule is in place to ensure that the server maintains a good quality roleplay experience for all players. It is very unrealistic for someone to disappear in the middle of a roleplay situation, in some cases doing it to keep inventory. The rule also ensures that the time of other players is not wasted when engaging in such scenarios.

Right, I will go ahead and unban you this time. Please understand that we do not do this lightly. Usually, if you had anything of value on you at the time, we would wipe your inventory but seeing as you had less that 1k worth of items on you, I will not take up valuable dev time to do this. 

It should be noted that if you do anything like this again, you will need to wait 6 months before being able to appeal again. Long story short, don't combat log. And in future, please do not start a situation before you intend to get off.
