Reason given for your ban: G4.3 G3.1

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I am writing this in explanation as to why I think was banned. I believe I was banned for engaging in metagaming and violating the new life rule (NLR) within RPUK. I acknowledge and take full responsibility for my actions. The situation why I was banned we were gunned down and taken at the casino and killed and burned at the humane labs, I then proceeded to send a picture of what was going on in the moment we were killed. the picture contained me and my 2 friends (Theo) And (Connor) on the screenshot you can see another friend commenting on the situation (i can try help gimme a sec) and (have youz been dumped) i am sure that is the reason for the metagaming.

In terms of the (NLR) New life rule I don't fully understand why I received this reasoning on the permanent ban. I think I received this due to talking about another character that was slightly involved in setting us up to be killed at the casino when I should have forgot about her completely.

Why should we unban you ?: It's been a week and a half since I was banned from RPUK. During the time that I've been banned, I have spent time in various different cities improving my overall roleplay and understanding of rules in-case I ever get the chance to return.

I understand that it hasn't been long since I was banned, But I've come to terms with my mistake's and worked on following/learning all the rules to avoid things like this happening again.

Over my time in RPUK I've met lots of good friends in the city that I still talk to everyday and I`ve really missed being able to RP and hang out with them in city as it was some of my funniest moments playing games in recent times, so being able to return would mean a lot to me the city was like my second home for 2 months

I appreciate you taking you're time to read this appeal and I hope to be returning to RPUK as an improved roleplayer.

Have you read the rules? I does not come across like you have.

So a simple test, I want you (in your own words) to explain the two rules that you have broken and then tell me why they are important to the server.

 
hey @PapaSmurphyThank you for taking the time to look over my appeal.

I am not here to troll if that was the case I would have not have put in my ban appeal and wouldn't be as upset as I am about the situation.

Ban reason (G3.1). OOC information/metagaming I have broken this rule by sending a screenshot of me laying dead with my 3 friends into a discord server with my friend group, OOC information/metagaming is when you use out of character apps such as discord steam snapchat etc to gain information and an advantage over other players that you character shouldn't know.

Ban reason (G4.3). New life rule (NLR) I am sure I broken this rule by talking about people after I had died who was involved in killing us in the same situation where me and my three friends were killed at the humane labs. I spoke about a girl who killed us when I should have forgotten About the person completely as it states in the rules. the explanation of the (NLR) When you respawn after dying all connections with the people that you were involved with are cut they are completely new people in that new life. After respawning you have no knowledge of the situation of how you died or anything leading up to your death. All feuds are ended with the killer/killers. Your character cannot return to the place of death for 15 minutes and you cannot re enter the situation that you were involved in before you died.

The reason these rules are important to the roleplay server is so other players don't gain an advantage over others without the metagaming rule the roleplay situations would be ruined everyone would know OOC information if this rule was not in place it would make some situations impossible. Same thing applys for the (NLR) rule it would ruin RP situations with people remembering how they died and remembering who killed them if the rule weren't in place wars and feuds would last forever and would ruin the realism of the server.

You say you're not fully aware yet you were on the top of Maze bank for 1 hour 30 minutes getting your ban reasoning explained to you which ended up going around in circles. 
Within the situation you've mentioned above, you were killed and re spawned along with your friend. Due to NLR rule, you'd completely forget about this situation.

You are then seen in a car with an Apostle member and Theo trying to find out how/why you died.
How does it make sense for Theo & Caldo do investigate the death's of Theo & Caldo?
Even if you are just sitting neutral in the vehicle whilst someone else is searching for this information, you're still very much taking part and looking into it.

Thanks for informing me properly about the (NLR) ban on my account I might have just forgotten I assumed it was for talking about another girl that was involved in the humane labs situation.

I understand about the investigating our own deaths part of your comment it was a violation of the (NLR) and if I do return will not happen again as I have learned from this. From my perspective we were informed about security camera footage of us being shot at the casino and we were trying to get a hold of a solicitor that was there when the whole situation happened. I have now learned that you cannot do this as it is a violation of the (NLR).

After going through my unban appeal I've taken the time last night to go through the RPUK rules again extensively, it clear to see where Theo and Myself went wrong with the blatant rule brakes that could've been avoided had we both properly educated ourselfs on said rules, I can assure you this will not happen again, if returned to the city Caldo sharkmandoo will be putting all his efforts into building better relationships with the player around him, learning how the city works, enhancing roleplay for himself and other players, making money and most importantly having fun as that's what we're all here to do.

Thank you for bringing up this concern. I understand that me breaking one of the ban appeal rules during the unban appeal process may have raised doubts about my ability to follow the server rules as a whole. I want you guys to know that I have learned from my mistakes and I am really committed to gaining your guys trust again. I genuinely really miss the server everyday and if I were to get a second chance on the server I can assure you these rule breaks will never happen again or any rule break for that matter. I feel like I could be a good asset to the community as to where I was going with my character. I am genuinely sorry again for all this inconvenience I really do appreciate you guys reading over my appeal.

Good evening, @Splitz8!

On the 25/11/2023 you received your ban for G2.3, you managed to survive 2 days before receiving a permanent ban.
Overall your roleplay seems to be going downwards causing your name to pop up more frequently, when will this stop and begin improving?

If I were to unban you now, how am I to know that you won't just get yourself banned again within a week and all of this time has been wasted?

I completely understand your doubts of my roleplay. Over the course of that week my roleplay could have been a lot better to avoid these two bans. As I have said previously I am dedicated to regaining your guys trust and desperate to be welcome in the server again. I have been over the rules multiple times to make sure I understand them so something like this dose not happen again. I can give you my word I promise my roleplay has improved and if unbanned you will see improvements from my character.

I am willing to give you a second chance on the server to prove yourself to us moving forward!
This is now your second ban all within the space of a week and I'd like to see some serious improvement on your roleplay as a whole as if it continues the way it was you'll likely end up back here again.
Please read over the rules before joining again.

Any ban you receive within the next 6 months will be a permanent taking you right back here, the chances of us entertaining another appeal from you will be absolutely minimal.
