Why do you think you were banned: I called Bmav a dirty nonce in a public channel
Why should we unban you: Originally I thought the ban was quite harsh but after speaking to a few staff members in particular Moe Sokol and Drex they started to make sense having provided a better understanding on the rule.

I would like to apologise for calling Bmav a dirty nonce in a public channel within the RPUK discord, I was always under the impression that RPUK as a whole was an adult community where I was clearly mistaken.
Drex explained how it was only the actual FiveM server that is an adult community and not the community as a whole.

It is clear why this rule is in place and as I mentioned above I never knew it was only the server that was 18+ and I can now see how inconsiderate I have been. I put myself in the shoes of a 12 year old who could have seen my message and thought RPUK protects peadophiles as Moe Sokol pointed out.

This has really opened my eyes and I never saw it from that prespective, like I said in my previous appeal, I just tried to swerve the mood as things started to heat up. I guess next time I should just be more family friendly and stay out of trouble.

For those who understand the context behind myself calling Bmav a dirty nonce I explained it my last appeal, for those who it may have offended I would just like to say RPUK is obviously not trying to protect pedophiles as it was a harmless inside joke regarding the actions of bmavs character within the server.
I have no intentions of making RPUKs image look bad and as I mentioned it was a harmless joke and a bit of banter, I shall DM bmav instead for the future as people might not understand the context.

I am just an innocent friendly NHS roleplayer who tries his best to provide high quality RP and follow the rules.

You have 4 previous bans, two of them involve using ooc information.

I remember being banned for "Metagaming" but ended up getting unbanned after denying those accusations providing timelines, which was a year and a half ago.
Another "Metagame" ban I recieved was during my time as CID where I wasn't given any information regarding the ban so couldn't really fight it or defend myself, I did reach out to staff leads regarding more information so I could gather an understanding but unfortunately did not get anywhere as the staff member I was speaking to was away due to IRL circumstances.

I believe my head is always down (not in that way)
for the most part I can admit when I've done wrong I have no shame in putting my hands up like I've done so in the past, my first ever ban being a C2.2, I admit I did wrong.
By no means am I perfect, we all fuck up at one point but its about learning and improving and I feel as though I've shown that.

I've learnt that it is only the server so I shall be more careful with the jokes I make on discord as the younger audience might take offence.

Well as you've seen in the past, whenever I have doubts or questions about a rule I always make my way to Teamspeak and ask questions and gather an understanding.

What will you do to ensure you don't up back here again?

Now that I am aware that this community isnt only just for adults, I shall consider having second thoughts before making adult jokes and see prespectives.
I am not here for trouble, my record is mostly clean and I try my best to follow the rules and provide good roleplay to the server.

What exactly do you mean by that? The way it reads, you seem to think that adults should be able to put up with being called Pedophiles in OOC? I don´t quite understand how that kind of insult would be okay in any way, be there minors on the discord or not... please enlighten me.

Hey Sammy,

I see you’re confused and rightly so as I was referring to the teamspeak call where Gee was present alongside Drex and Moe.

I made a reference to Bmavs character by describing him as a nonce as it’s a meme however obviously there are minors within the discord hence why it wasn’t appropriate to make a joke involving dark humour as such after having a lovely discussion where I was fortunate to gain more knowledge regarding my ban.

I’m sure I’m not the first person to describe a character within an OOC channel, by no means was I calling bmav a nonce OOC, as stated previously just made a harmless joke involving a bit of dark humour and I suppose I should have been more cautious about my surroundings as a minor might not have found it funny or understand it’s context.

I will give you another chance today, but I urge you to be mindful how you speak to people, especially in public channels where people may not be aware of how it is meant to come across from your side.
