Reason given for your ban: G1.2 (RDM) - G1.3 (Baiting)
In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I believe I was banned for two separate offences (RDM and Baiting). This was because I did not carry out an assassination with a legitimate roleplay scenario, also baiting police officers by trying to lure them to pillbox by texting them saying there was a fight at pillbox.
Why should we unban you ?: Firstly, I understand I have violated two RP rules that were easily avoidable during the incidents that night. The first rule which I broke was RDM- Attacking another player without engaging in any form of quality roleplay.
-During this incident, I did not create a valid roleplay scenario and did not play the assassination out in an effective manner. I understand what I did was completely wrong and now understand what effect this can have on the other players and the reason to why this has been put in place. The reason for RDM is to make sure everyone can enjoy the RP experience, keeping the city together by making sure any assassinations carried out are done through valid roleplay scenario's. This is because if RDM was not followed then it would not mimic real life and put the other player's at a disadvantage as they do not have enough time to react nor take action to what is being said. This is because without a valid roleplay scenario, it would mean the game will lose all meaning as players are not behaving as naturally as they can.
The second rule which I broke was Baiting- Taking deliberate actions to create a scenario where you get chased or engaged with, especially to cause a firefight.
-During this part of the incident I was driving around the police station to try find officers to lure in, using the emergency phone number texting police officers "there is a fight at pillbox" to lure them in. The reason for the whole baiting was me and a few mates were offered a decent amount of money if we had got a tazer and I totally understand there could have been better ways of initiating the act instead of going against the RP rule. I understand from a police officer's view the effect this has by wasting time for the officers when they can be out there helping another player around the city who may actually be in danger and make their RP experience better. This is because the whole reason as to why police officers are in the city is to help professionally make a positive difference by prevent actual crime and provide support to victims by playing out their roleplay so that players around the city do not have to worry about anything and are getting help when needed instead of going somewhere where nothing is actually happening.
Ever since I was unbanned not long ago I have made multiple friends within the city and met friends who I knew from two years ago of being in the city, we were in the process of trying to create our own gang to add more roleplay to the community and give new players the opportunity to experience that side of the server as I personally understand how hard it is to gain trust to try join a gang which already exists. The whole reason as to why this was created was to enable and allow individual's to feel welcomed and have a good roleplay experience where they would want to spend more time around us and make other individual's around the city enjoy the roleplay experience by teaching them the ropes.
I now totally understand the two rules stated above and the reason to why these RP rules are put in place to give every individual an effective roleplay experience. Furthermore, I know I did come off a ban two weeks ago for a previous reason (Combat logging) which happened two years ago when I was fairly new to the city and have broken two rules ever since being unbanned which I am truely sorry about and have now understood very well what type of impact it can have on the reputation of the server and other players who are in the city and should always think of my actions before I am in any roleplay scenario so no rules are broken.
