Why do you think you were banned: I was banned for combat logging over a years go following an incident at Grove Street Apartments. I was in an RP situation with a police officer, which unfortunately led to combat logging.
Why should we unban you: Hello again, I was quite busy when I last opened my ban appeal, and it slipped my memory; I apologise for that. I'm filing this ban appeal to recognise my error and apologies to the staff and police officers who had to deal with this issue on February 7th, over a year ago. I'd want to start by mentioning that when I initially joined RPUK, I was extremely new to fivem, and RPUK was my first server. Unfortunately, I didn't understand what the rules were or meant at the time, and I didn't have somebody to explain it to me effectively, for which I accept was my responsibility; I should have looked into it much more thoroughly.

My objective was not to disrupt the roleplay scene, but I recognise that I did. During my time away from RPUK, I spent time on other servers and was previously a staff member, so I now understand all of the rules. I understand the circumstances around my acts, the rules, and I know how to roleplay. My time at RPUK was brief, but I remember thoroughly liking the community and having a good time.

I took a look at my old ban appeal and will answer those questions here ( not sure if I had to but just decided to go over it)

1) You have learned how to correctly respond to situations/circumstances. Could you go in more detail with this?
-As previously stated, I was relatively new to RPUK. During my absence, I have gained knowledge on how to roleplay appropriately, handle situations, and understand the rules and the consequences of breaking them.

2) you mention you'd want to take your amazing rping skills to RPUK, what do you mean by this? - IF we were to unban you, we want to SEE this amazing rping skills from you.
-What I wanted to say by this kind of relates to what I already mentioned, but once again, I've learned how to roleplay, interact with the community, and handle scenes. ( sorry if I'm repeating myself)

3) What were you doing on the server before your silly situation? What was your aim/goal with Selen Koja?
-Since I had no real idea what roleplaying or fivem actually included, my main goal was to simply have fun. I did learn a little bit about it throughout my little stay there, but it didn't last long or go well because I didn't know what I was truly playing or had any prior experience or knowledge to what fivem roleplay was.

4) Is that so? In that case. IF you get banned again, you will be placed on a 1 month cooldown minimum. (If you end up being banned for CL again it'll be 2 months waiting)
- I acknowledge that and promise it won't happen again.

5) Two conditions
1) If your amazing rping skills drop at any point in quality, we will see each other here again.
2) If you get banned again, you will be placed on a 1 month cooldown minimum.

We'll start a fresh one, since we're now onto a new appeal quite a few months down the line.

Please could you help me gather an insight into your thought process during the moments leading up to your combat log?
Essentially you were seen going into a house, pulling multiple items out of storage and then logging off in an attempt to save them, clearly affecting roleplay. Why did you do this?

If you are also to return, it will come with the following condition being:

2) Selen Yildirim is to receive an inventory wipe.
2) If you get banned again, you will be placed on a 1 month cooldown minimum.

Hello, I'm fine, thanks for asking. I hope all is well on your end as well.

To be completely honest, I have no justification for doing that. I was in that scene with some friends and one of them advised me to do something, me being new and unfamiliar with the consequences and how it would impact the scene i decided to do that. I have now learnt that this does affect the people in the scene, the community and just ruins roleplay. Like ive already mentoined above back then I never really read deep into the rules of fivem, nor did i know the impact it would have with the actions i take. I just wanted to play and have fun, which i understand i took the wrong route and wasnt roleplay. Since then i have learned that its not just about me, that my actions not only affect me it affect others who did nothing wrong. With that being said, I am a better person today, understand roleplay, the rules and how my actions impact people and scenes.

I've accepted my punishments and if I am allowed back I am fine with an inventory wipe. I think everyone deserves a second chance and I have learned from my mistakes and it will not happen again. This was my home server and Im trying to make that happen again and come back better.

How did one of your friends advise you to take the items within the house and log off to keep them safe?
You were not with any friends at the time. Please be strictly honest.

Good afternoon.
I just want to say in none of this have I been lying, I have been strictly honest. Yes, I was by myself at the beginning of this scene, and I was also explaining what was happening on the radio. which resulted in the involvement of one of my friend at the time. I vaguely remember this but i know there was additional PD before my combat log turned into a gunfight that resulted in my friend and I being banned for different things
 
Thanks for the response @Selen , so essentially you had been told over radio within game to remove those items and log out, is this correct?

Hello again, yes. I'll try to explain this situation better to provide more context. The night before I was banned, I had a scene with an officer in which I felt like he was treating me unfairly and unprofessionally. attempting to drag out the scene of the previous scene and being quite impolitely, this was dealt with, and a friend that assisted me in filing a report. The same cop who I felt uneasy around pulled me over in the scenario that lead to more officers getting involved and me getting banned. I just really didn't want to interact with the same officer and just felt like he was going out his way to bother me. I'm not blaming anyone for my combat logging but myself, I'm just trying to explain that I was very new and just listened to other people when I shouldn't have and would like to give rpuk another chance knowing i'm better now.

During this specific scenario from the report, you had also combat stored your vehicle whilst being pulled over.
I can only but assume this was to save further items a lot like the scenario in the house where you logged out to save items.

This is now twice, we've broken the same rules - Seems to be a consistent pattern here, no?

Surely the officer pulling you over would be something to deal with within roleplay, no?

Thank you for getting back to me so fast.

At the time, I had no idea what combat storage or combat logging were. I had no idea any of it would get me in trouble, and as I've stated multiple times, I was banned over a year ago, when I first got a pc. I had nothing in my car to save, and I had no idea there was a rule against doing so.

I did my best to roleplay things out to the best of my ability, which is why I stopped and listened to what he had to say; I wasn't disrespectful in any way, and I wasn't going out of my way to break regulations. I continued with what the cop had pulled me over for before driving away, which turned into a chase in while i was communicating on radio. I did mess up towards the end of the scene by combat storing and combat logging which I already said above I never knew was a rule break.

I simply feel like I stated how new I was and how, throughout my time away, I had been on serious roleplay servers, was completely aware of the rules and never have been banned once since I have been in rpuk. I've also reread the rpuk rules to ensure that nothing like this happens again. I had nothing in my car to save and had no idea it was a rulebreak; I'm alright with an inventory or character wipe, I would just like another chance to show I'm better then that and be apart of the community again.

You say you had little experience when you were first playing here on RPUK and have also now mentioned you've since been playing elsewhere and not broken any rules.
This leads me to ask, if you are given another chance where, what would your plan be;

What character(s) are you looking to play?
What backstories will said characters have?
What quality roleplay can you provide on this server?

Hello again!
I intend to create another character, which is why I stated earlier that I was fine with a character wipe; I want a completely new and fresh start.

I'm interested in creating a character who will begin as a civilian and adventure to see where I want to go, either a mechanical career or a criminal side of things . I'm not sure at the moment. My objective is to simply work, explore, meet new people, and sort things out along the way.
I'm also interested in the police force; I've previously worked in PD and eventually joined the SWAT team. So I am interested in maybe having two souls.

Mia Vera was born and raised in L.A. Mia Vera's childhood was impacted by her parents' story, who were both law enforcement officers in Los Santos. They were the essence of bravery and honesty, serving their communities with honour. Mia looked up to her parents and wished to be like them when she grew up. Till tragedy occurred while Mia was just a teenager. Her parents were killed in the line of duty, so her grandma looked after her till she was older. She grew up with a strong sense of independence and resourcefulness and adapted to city life's hectic pace. She is now enrolled in LAPD Academy, hopping she can be just like her parents on carry their honour on.

I can engage with others responding to their actions and dialogue in a realistic and immersive manner with whichever soul I am on. I can help create and develop storylines adding fun and interactive scenes to make the roleplay experience better. an example for pd is I can provide detailed descriptions of environments, buildings, and settings to enhance the immersive experience. I can portray a wide range of characters with diverse personalities, backgrounds, and motivations, making the overall roleplay experience for everyone involved better.

How can I trust you to follow the server rules again if you're not going to follow the unban appeal rules and bump the appeal?

I apologies for any confusion or irritation caused by the additional comment in response to the unban request; I fully understand your concern. I know how important it is to follow by the unban and server rules, but even so, I was confused to see that the appeal had been timed out as i didn't expect me asking if there was an updates after a while later would be considered bumping . I do apologise for this mistake and the time I have wasted due to that.

Okay, overall I am willing to give you another chance on the server.
This is currently your only ban on record and I do hope it remains this way too - As stated, your inventory has been wiped.

Any bans within the next 6 months will be a permanent and this will also come with an automatic 1 month cooldown before appeal.
Please don't waste the chance!
