Ban Reason: Failed to follow NLR
Why do you think you were banned: I was banned due to not following (G4.5) point 4 "Due to your injuries, you must not enter any combat situation until at least 15 minutes have passed, unless an aggressor forces you into combat, in which case you must still roleplay your injuries." // I re-entered combat after a heated conversation with a police character. This was after getting being revived in a bed on the police side of pillbox hospital.
Why should we unban you: Where do I start. I did not expect to be in this situation writing yet another appeal.
I would like to begin by apologising for the actions that I had displayed in my last appeal, They were un needed and gave little to no clarification on why the ban took place. I do however want to point out that I had 0 ill intention writing my last appeal and hoped this would appeal to the humour of the staff reading the appeal at the time.
Now onto my appeal. It has been a couple week and a lot has gone on in my life so If you require further clarification please let me know.
From what I can gather from my previous appeal and my memory I was in a situation at the Megamall next to grove street where NSC were fighting Grove/Chiphone's. I was subsequently downed after attempting to rescue my team. After around 10 - 15 mins I was picked up by a police character and due to me being in a grey car I was taken to the police side of Pillbox hospital and this is where the rule break occurred. I was placed on a bed and questioned about the events that had unfolded and was not giving anything up which did start to provoke one of the officers in the situation. This got heated until a couple other gang members appeared in the same beds. This was now a 3 voices vs 2 voices situation which we tried to talk our way out of however the officers did mention they would like to search our characters as part of "getting off the hook". Now we felt this was unfair so had a heated conversation to which the officer said "Put your hands up for a search" (or something to that effect) and we didn't want our characters to go to prison. This is where the rule break took place and we downed the officers involved just 5 mins after getting out of the bed at pillbox.
In hindsight there was no plan to what to do after downing the police characters as we would have had nowhere to run. I would like to extend my apologies to the two police characters involved. Me and a staff member did have a conversation in game shortly before my ban and tried to get the side of the officers involved but they were in active scenes and we sadly did not get time. I understand the gravity of the situation I have put myself in and this was a major oversight on my part as I committed myself to taking extra care in regards to rule breaks following my previous ban. Now I would like to express that I put this down to an oversight rather than a blatant disregard to the rules as I was that immersed into the situation and the back and forth with the officers that I did lose track of time. I do however take full responsibility for my actions and would like a chance to maintain proper standards in regards to roleplay.
I also understand that given my commitments previously that this more than likely is not going to be believed and I completely appreciate that as I had made a promise to uphold the rules in my previous appeal and here I am writing another. I would like to add to this appeal that I did take the ban on the chin and took full responsibility from the second I was pulled by staff and I was initially going to get a warning however I remembered my commitments from my previous ban and knew you would have no choice but to take action. I hope my commitment to upholding the rules after accidentally breaking them proves that I am a positive member to the community and not someone that is just here to take the mick or make a mess of what RPUK stands for.
This appeal is a bit short however I cannot full recall the situation. I have taken a break and hope we can open a line of conversation to move past this and get back to what we enjoy.
PS: If I recall or gather any further information to help my appeal I will attempt to reach out to add this.
Thank you,
