In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: First of all i would again like like to thank staff for taking time out of their busy day to review my ban,

I broke the C2.3(COMBAT-LOG)rule after finding my self letting frustration get the better of me to the point of me wanting to leave the community, even opened a ticket in discord to say i had F8 quit.

After returning to the city after a short break i find my self on coa hill asking people their names to see if i knew anyone that was there, which i did. after a altercation broke out i was out numbered shot & slumped into the back of a local car being driven by a NPC around the city, at first i didn't know it was a NPC driving the car it was only around 10 minutes of driving around i noticed the car stopping at traffic lights. so outraged i Combat logged knowing my actions would hold consequences but still decided to ignore that factor knowing the out come.

Why should we unban you ?: So i have been in the city for just under a year now & this is my first slip up/mistake & i can fully hold my hands up & say i was in the wrong for F8 quiting. i should of waited for respawn & then logged out, i feel the fact i let anger get the best of me over something so silly drove me to do this because as stated above its my first slip up & before this i made sure i stuck to rules as i didn't want to end up here making a appeal! but also because i enjoyed the city, i was spending way more than the average soul needs to spend in a city (timewise)purely because i enjoyed the community & the roleplay. some would ask if unbanned would i let anger get the best of me again & the answer is no.
i would simply Roleplay my injuries continue with the situation & then if im mad log out when its safe to do so (i.e there is no scene or rp that involves me)

Hello Stuart hope you are well,

So on this day I shouldn’t of entertained RP as I had IRL issues but also a mix of embarrassment as I hadn’t been on the server for a couple weeks & when I flew in I’d found myself dead in the back of a local. But that doesn’t make any excuses as l have said before I’ve managed to keep to the rules & stay out of trouble, and I don’t know why I even Combat logged that day as it’s something I’ve not done before.

And to be honest I don’t know why I let situation get like this & I have no excuse or defence.

and to answer your question, Yes. Yes this is the only time I have combat logged.

Good start, I also checked prior to you commenting and only found one time but I'll assume that was a relog as you came right back and carried on the RP.

Now, After the ban was issued you made a ticket right, Mind explaining this ?

Yeah I could say for sure that it hasn’t occurred before this incident.

And to explain that further, that was minutes after the combat log & heat of the moment got me. I had actually opened a ticket to say I’d combat logged then got banned, but at that time I just felt like flying in & within minutes had been shot, killed & driven about in the boot of a local car was enough to have that effect on me. Like I said with IRL issues & returning to such a welcome it just pushed me over the edge that day & felt like I wanted to leave the community for good.

obviously after having some cool down time I’ve realised that this isn’t the decision I want go with as I enjoyed my self during my time here & would love to continue my character & roleplay with the friends & community I was once part of.

A lot of your ban reason seems to revolve around you getting frustrated/annoyed and "heat of the moment".

This to me displays a win/loss mentality, this is the absolute opposite that what we're looking for here within the community.
We want players who can embrace and enjoy any given situation, rather than getting upset they've lost because afterall this is a roleplay server.

What has changed? Do you still frequently get upset/annoyed during the heat of the moment?
How am I to trust you won't have outbursts like this again?

Hello danoo all is well here besides this ban Thank you for asking, hope same can be said about your self.

So yes it looks as it seems, this whole scenario has evolved due to me being frustrated that day. However I have never got to the point like I did on that day during my close to a year time at rpuk, I understand how this looks & comes across but I have never carried the win/lose mentality around with me.

To answer your question, no. No I don’t get upset or frustrated during a heat of the moment during my time I’ve never had one of these moments & always embrace the situation win or lose & I genuinely have no excuse or explanation as to why that day I decided to combat log apart from the IRL issues I had at the time. Another thing I’ve learned in my time away is to not let IRL issues mix with my role play. 
 

If a second chance was given I could ensure you that the trust would not be broken a second time.

Morning @Danoo,

yeah of course I can explain that. So during my time at rpuk I’ve come across situations harder to deal with than others & I’ve had the short straw majority of my time here. But this day I had returned to what I describe as a “100kordie” scenario & it got me to boiling point I can’t sit here and lie. The way I was shot killed & left trailing the city driven by a local I felt it was nothing but frag!
 

I can’t remember why I tried to get staff in ooc but at that time I felt let down by the community I guess. The only thing I can give towards an explanation is anger! Frustration, I didn’t lost nothing for me to react this was or was I in an active RP scene. I’ll keep it 100, I was majorly angry & I most definitely cried myself to sleep that night.

I've had a look through your record and it has been perfect up until this ban, it's a shame your first ever ban has to be a permanent.
To be truthful, I'm half tempted to deny this appeal and have you follow through with this: "I won't be appealing & too I'll be leaving the discord! Happy to close"

At the same time, I'm inclined to give you another chance on the server to prove yourself given the current clean record you hold.
I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt however, and grant you a second chance on the server. 
Please do not waste this chance, and please disregard the frustration/angry mentality you had held during this recent scenario which led to this ban.

Any ban you receive within the next 6 months will be a permanent, taking you right back to the appeals!
