Why do you think you were banned: Firstly I would like to say that I am very disappointed in myself to be in this position. As a gang lead I have always tried my best to uphold quality RP within my gang and as a whole. This ban is not a representation of who I am and I know I should have done better here.

Moving onto the incident - We decided to push the arcade in search of Cutlass, and we could hear people taking photos downstairs so we decided to force our way in. Upon breaching the staircase i was caught off guard by a Cutlass member on the other end. Going into a scenario that i was confident would turn lethal, i had already prepared myself to be met with hostility. In a split second decision I unfortunately fired with no high quality roleplay leading up to it. I have review the comments from staff and completely agree that this was not acceptable behaviour and falls far below the standard that I expect from myself and that Cutlass deserved on that day.

This incident was out of character as people who know me, Know I love to have banter and wind people up / have an argument in game. I would normally torment them before coming in like I have done on several different incidents before. I honestly don't know why I did what I did on this day. It could have been where I didn't expect them to be on the stairs and my reaction was to shoot or I was just having an off day like we all have. I can honestly say that I had no intention of causing RDM and fully accept responsibility for my actions on this day as I should be showing an example and really let myself, my gang and staff down on this incident.

I would like to again, extend my apologies to Cutlass for the poor standard of roleplay displayed and I will do better in the future should I be given another chance.
Why should we unban you: I believe that my time in this community (3 years) I have learned so much and provided many quality lines of RP. I feel that this example above is not my normal behaviour and was a poor moment of madness. I completly understand staff's view on this and believe that I should be unbanned as I will continue to provide quality RP moving foward and as a gang lead I should have known better and will do better in the future. Again I would like to say sorry for my actions and can assure you that this will not happen again! I feel that I am not done with this server and continue to try and encourage others to play and build quality lines of roleplay. And as a gang lead I have continued to show I can rebuild a gang from nothing and create some fun sernarios along the way which many have enjoyed thoughout my time as lead of Grove. As a community leader, it falls upon your shoulders to set the standard for criminal RP within the server. I believe that you’re fully aware of this. I also do believe that you didn’t intentionally break the rule. But whether it was intended or not, with the 2 points I’ve highlighted, I hope you can see why it was a problem. A gang leads standards slipping and breaking g what is considered a basic rule, is a problem.

So with that in mind, what assurance can you give me, that this won’t happen again?

As a gang lead I have always tried to provide quality story lines for my gang as being a leader you need to show what you expect from others though what you do. I believe that this was a genuine mistake and will not make this again as I have been rebuilding Grove for a long time now and would like the opportunity to continue this avenue of RP. Overall I can assure you that this silly mistake will not happen again.

Again, I do apologize for you even having to deal with this whole report/unban and I will to my best to not give you a reason to regret giving me the opportunity to get back to playing again.

Yes, I would be willing to accept that as I plan dont plan on breaking any rules.

OK then, As I Believe this was a genuine lapse in judgement, I'll lift the ban.

But he caveat is whatever ban you receive within the next 6 months, comes with a minimum 1 month cooldown before appeals will be entertained.
Also the standard procedure of, any rule breaks within the next 6 months will put you back on a permanent ban, as per FBS.

A final note from myself. I have mentioned in a few reports this week, that the standards of community leaders, are judged by thee dev/staff steams. Please bear in mind, that we will be observing, to ensure your standards remain in the realms of what we expect from the leader of a whitelisted gang. You are a role model to players involved in the criminal aspect of the server, and we expect high quality, so that is filtered down to the other players.
