Reason given for your ban: G1.3 + C1.7

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned because I was walking around after pushing marabunta turf and did not put enough effort into roleplaying with other parties down in the room. Whilst they were not speaking with me, it is still my job to ensure that I always attempt to provide high quality rp no matter what. This has of course fallen under COMMON SENSE. as it’s pretty common knowledge you just RP on a roleplay server.

Why should we unban you ?: I personally feel like i should be unbanned as since i have came off my previous ban i have attempted to give the best quality of RP possible in every situation I was apart of. My main priority in this server has been to provide quality RP so that everyone enjoys the RP scenario which I'm apart of but unfortunately I have made mistakes within my RP which has led to this ban.

As you saw in my last appeal i will hold my hands up and admit if i believe if i done something which was wrong, i honestly did not think what i was doing at the time was classed as "baiting" as i have seen other gangs do it (Standing on the other gangs turf for a long period of time while having some sort of beef with them). Unfortunately when i got pulled by staff at the end of the night and got told it was baiting it was already to late as i got banned minutes after being told. If i had the chance to go back and change what i done with knowing it was baiting i would have left their turf when finished with them. Another reason it didnt really come to mind that it was baiting is because people usually type in OOC if they feel like another gang is trying to bait them into a gun fight or something, which i did not see in OOC chat at the time.

As of me breaking the common sense rule, i believe one of the staff members that pulled me said it was because i shot out the gas tank which is located next to marabuntas shop. (correct me if im wrong)
The reason i shot this out is because we knew their was possibly a couple marabunta members still about lurking in the city due to omizz ( a marabunta member) being recently dropped off somewhere in the city by police so we couldn't get to him.
we had no way to tell whether they were going to come back to their turf so with having no info on their whereabouts so i shot out that gas tank (which is a common thing to do at mara, which other gangs such as grove, coa etc have done in the past) this is because if any of us were close to it when/if they came back they could have shot it and blew 1 or more of us up. Me shooting it out was just a precaution just in case they did come back.

One other reason i think i was banned for is due to the lack of RP in marabuntas new MLO after we pushed inside and killed them all. when i got pulled by staff I'm pretty sure Stuart mentioned something about me not attempting to roleplay with them. One thing i would like to say is that its hard to give good quality RP when your not getting it yourself, multiple of us tried to speak to most of them and nothing was said. There was no /me's or anything to increase the quality of roleplay. i also understand In that situation i could have also done some things such as "/me inspects for any GSW" so i feel like that situation was poor on both sides of the roleplay but in the heat of the moment i honestly just forgot about that which i do need to work on as this is a Roleplay server at the end of the day and the number 1 priority is too provide the best RP as possible. I believe something also got mentioned about its poor that we are just dancing on them. The reason we was doing things like that is due to them doing the same to us about an hour before which you can see them doing in this clip at the bottom of the appeal.


If i got given another chance to come back onto the server i would make sure that mine and the people around me roleplay is top quality with little to no rules broken

Hello mate,

”Baiting” was placed in error, your only rule break from this situation is Common Sense due to the lack of RP towards the downed Marabunta members.

Roleplay for injured players doesn’t stop at the moment you have downed them, had you been in this situation again. What would you have done?

If I were to be in this situation again, then my character would attempt different routes of RP with the downed people on the floor, as at the end of the day the server is meant to be fun for both parties, now I understand that what I did at the time was not fun for the other party.
 
There are many different options that I could do, some of these are but not limited to:
- Check for different wounds and provide medical RP.
- Torture, or have some sort of roleplay in which a fatal injury occurs making sure there is good prior depth to this execution style RP.
- Potentially attempt to get them out of the room/area and get them medical treatment and further the RP that they can have.
 
There are lots of different options that I could do and they are situational, I can assure you that if faced with this situation again that I will be providing RP to the downed people, and not just leaving them and walking around and talking to other members.
 
Whilst there is sometimes difficulty roleplaying with downed people as there responses are not always there, I will not let this affect MY roleplay and will attempt to still provide high quality RP.

Thank you for the reply.

This is my 4th ban that I have received since the last ban I have been staying within the rules I own the fact that I have broken rules in the past, and that idea that a ban is for people to learn from their mistakes, which I can appreciate it doesn't look like I have done.

However what I want to state is that during this situation that I was banned for, there was a lot going on and a lot of conversation with other people, now I can appreciate the fact that the main priority of this situation should have been to make the situation fun for all and that I have should have been attempting more roleplay with the downed Marabunta inside of their safehouse, this not being the case is the reason that I have been given a common sense ban.

I want to state that I have a small clip, whilst it doesn't have me speaking in the clip you can see where the Push to Talk button was pressed and that I was speaking at the time, now the reason I am showing this is whilst the clip is small the people that were downed were not roleplaying back, however I have now learnt that this should not affect MY roleplay at all, and that no matter what I should be attempting to provide high quality RP and not give up at the first hurdle. Like I stated previously there are many different things that I could have attempted, however I didn't. Knowing this now I can appreciate the decision of a common sense ban.

This is never my intention and is something that I would not do on purpose, with complete honesty the reason for this ban is I became complacent with the situation and thought that because the people downed were not providing me with RP and making the situation more difficult that it was okay for myself to walk around and not really provide the downed members with RP, looking back I can see why this is a issue and that I have received a ban. They could have been offering alternative RP such as roleplaying as heavily injured and not able to speak, which the /me command could have been used to find out more details and find out their injuries and what further steps in RP we could have taken, which would have provided me and the others with some RP.

I want to apologise for my actions and that I understand RPUK is a roleplaying server and that should always be the main priority, something that this ban has not reminded me off, but allowed me to realise that there is more that I can do in situations in terms of RP and that there is many different ways of making the server fun and allowing unique roleplay to take place, and that instead of the RP not fitting the situation, switching things up and trying new alternative routes of RP and seeing if they work instead of almost thinking that the situation was over and that there was nothing left for my character to do.

Whilst it's a large ask, I want to be able to show the staff team that I can learn from my mistakes that I have made and have a chance to show the server and the staff team that I can benefit RPUK, in terms of providing high quality and unique RP at all times during all situations, I want to be able to show the staff team that this is a mistake and not something that I am going to do again. I understand that it will be hard to trust my word after receiving 4 bans like you have stated,  I am well aware that these chances are not something that come easy, which is why I can assure you that I won't let you down. I will always provide RP to members of the community regardless of the situation as that is the priority. This is something that I do regret and feel that I have let myself down along with the members of my gang and community, if I were to be unbanned I can promise that I will redeem this by benefiting situations and adding a sense of unique RP, rather than being complacent and thinking it's okay. My RP will not be affected by other peoples RP, that Is a promise.

We have seen that clip, that was one incident. In the incident that led to your ban, there were others downed that weren't given High Quality Roleplay. Such as, another incident where Omizz was downed but just "laughed" at on the floor, Fortnite dancing on their body, walking off.

In the scenario of your video, there was 1-2 other Marabunta members left to their own devices in a room in the Clubhouse with No Roleplay given to them. I understand that 229 and Marabunta were engaged in a beef/war. However, as we always say make it fun for both sides and we obviously know that sometimes losing a gunfight wouldn't be fun but why make it even less fun by just staring at a blurry screen?

my apologies liam. 

i agree with you, there is no good reason to leave someone on the floor after they have lost a gunfight with minimal RP. I would not be happy either. If i were to be in this situation again i would make sure my RP would be as good as it can be no matter on the outcome on the roleplay scenario.

Like I have stated in this unban appeal, I will not let others RP or rulebreaks affect mine, regardless of their actions. So in answer to your question, No if another person is breaking rules this does not give me a pass to do this myself.
