In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned for the exploit for repeatedly selling to NPCs on Dutch London and also passing things and resources through the fencing at Atomics. Most importantly for lying to the RPUK staff team.
Why should we unban you ?: I would like to start this appeal off by apologizing to all the RPUK Staff team for my last unban appeal in which I lied.
I was banned for exploiting on Dutch London by blocking up the road, leaving the area for a few minutes and then coming back to re-sell to the same line of traffic. How you would do this is by putting two trucks at a set of traffic lights so cars cannot drive through, selling to the NPC’s in the same line of traffic over and over again. I saw how much money the gang was making and encouraged them to sell this way. I also had meetings with other gangs and showed them how to set up Dutch London the same way. I was also banned for passing materials through the fence at Atomics - once again exploiting. I take full accountability for these exploits and nobody else is to blame but myself. You guys were looking out for the server and I was looking out for myself - I was selfish.
The reason why I lied was complete arrogance and thinking I would get away with it. The gang was all very new and didn’t have a lot of money and so when I found out about the exploit I took advantage of it and for this I wholeheartedly apologise. Everyone who received a ban regarding Dutch London and the Atomic Auto's was only following my instructions and I was leading other people to make the wrong choices which I knew they were wrong and still chose not to say anything. This again as a Gang Lead makes it even worse because I know the expectations and rules set. And what it expected of me within the RPUK community. You put that trust in me and I broke that trust but im writing this to ask to for another chance.
Looking back now I know I put the economy at risk which you all try so hard to keep balanced and I should have gone to staff right away especially when I call some of you my friends - I let you down. I know previously in the past there has been a lot of problems with people exploiting on the server and how much of an importance it is to not affected because it impacts everyone. This also makes it unfair for all the other players on the server who spend a lot of their time grinding to get money. knowing all of this but thinking about myself. As a community leader I knew I had people within the server looking to me to set a good example and it was my duty to make sure all rules within RP were followed to the highest of my ability – I failed at this.
Looking back at my time on the server the community has so much to offer and is so unique - I have made many friends and have some great memories.
I take full responsibility for my actions and have had time to reflect on my mistakes and can now see what I should have done differently. My head is in a much better place than it was 6 months ago and my mindset is completely different. I have been on the server around 2+ years and it has kept me out of trouble and so I would very much like the opportunity to come back. If I was to be given a second chance I would make sure I go to staff with any queries or questions I might have and most importantly be honest.
