Reason given for your ban: (G2.9) Transferring money or items between your own characters is not allowed by any method.

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned because in January I had transferred a large amount to money (around £1m) from my Harlow Milner character to my Gee Ramirez character. I had also transferred other items (not sure what these were) through my storage container a month or so after this. Unfortunately, I did this silly action thinking I’d get away with it which is clearly very naive of me.

Why should we unban you ?: This situation was many many months ago and I had an extra month of waiting since my last attempt at an unban appeal. I do think I had a good roleplay standard (especially on my police character due to me interacting with many different people). I am aware in the past I have received warnings for a few different things, but those warnings were hiccups in my roleplay because I was new to the whole roleplaying. Saying this, the G2.9 ban has made me realise that it was very silly of me to do, and I had assumed I could get away with it. I am not sure why I had believed that I would get away with it but as I said previously, it was naive of me. The ban has given me time away from the game and allowed me to realise RPUK is an enjoyable and great community which I miss quite a lot. Unfortunately, there have been times where I had wanted to play the server but of course wasn’t able to because of my ban. Moreover, this further makes me realise how I will not make the same mistakes in future, and I will remain giving high quality RP (and if I create a new character I will not transfer any items). Unbanning me wouldn’t be a decision the staff team would regret because I will not take it for granted. I will make sure I focus on high roleplay standards and will not break any of these black and white rules such as G2.9.

We did cover a bit in your last appeal. I mentioned in your last appeal that you have been going on this downward spiral in relation to warnings and indeed bans. Lets say we give you another opportunity how can we be sure this won't continue to happen? 

Since the cooldown given, Have you took the time to read the GTA and Community rules? If so can you please quote the rule that landed you here and explain in your own words why you believe we have such a rule in place?

I can confirm yes I have read through the rules whilst being banned. I wouldn’t continue to do this as I can clearly see the consequences. Being banned, isn’t great as there are a lot of times I want to play the game but physically have a barrier to stop me from doing so. From here on in, I’m going back to how I was previously when I first joined the server, making money legitimately and enjoying myself whilst doing so. It’s unfortunate that I had to learn the hard way but I have definitely learnt from my mistakes.
 

G2.9 is in place to prevent the server’s economy turning into a mess. If everyone transferred money, cars etc. it would make it so, effectively, there’s ‘infinite’ money. The server would then not be an economy based server but instead seem as a V Menu type because anyone can have what they want without working for it, thus ruining immersion for all parties.

Going over some of the things asked within your last appeal. You mentioned that you sent money to others after I questioned this for what you believe to be a new vehicle on another character. How can we be sure if we give you another shot you won't simply do the same thing again? 

You mentioned you have learnt from your mistakes, Can you elaborate on this please? 

Just to confirm since the ban you have read both our GTA and community rules fully?

I wouldn’t do the same thing again because I don’t think it would be worth the ban for the second time. On RPUK, I enjoy playing my police character more so I will be focusing on that character. With this being said, I don’t really need money on the character because it’s logging on, going on duty, logging off. Nothing will require me to have a lot amounts of money, my sole focus is can be on the roleplay.
 

I learnt from my mistakes because I have suffered the consequences and have realised that they outweigh the pros immensely so it wouldn’t be worth for me to try again. I want to get back on RPUK and enjoy myself roleplaying, caring less and less about the money. Once I had the money, I didn’t feel like I earned it so I didn’t enjoy the things I had bought.

In relation to this part of what you said, Can you elaborate? From reading it comes across as you wouldn't want another ban for it however the way it's mentioned doesn't install much confidence. If you wasn't caught would you of simply carried on breaking the rules?

With bans of this nature a few things do happen. Currently you have four characters, I'd assume you wish to keep Connor? If not please let me know. What will happen is three of the four characters will be deleted and the remaining one will receive a full character wipe, This includes all money, Inventory, Vehicles ect will be removed. Do you agree to this?

No of course not, I hadn’t transferred anything for a while and wasn’t planning to anyways. I was just enjoying my roleplay without the transferring at the time the ban was issued.

Yes I agree to those terms. Yes I would like to keep Connor and delete the other 3.
