Reason given for your ban: G1.2

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned for random death match (RDM). I had a altercation with an officer that was on 229 turf which was taking the mick out of the way I spoke and decided to shoot him because of it.

Why should we unban you ?: I 100% agree with the fact that there is other ways to go about this and the way I went about it was not the best but at the time I wasn't really thinking about the consequence and got very annoyed with the fact he was trying to take the mick out of my accent and the way I spoke. If I happened to get into another scenario like the one I got banned for I would make sure that the roleplay came first and try to venture down different avenues of roleplay I would attempt to further my roleplay by maybe kidnapping them and taking them somewhere and offer them things in exchange for their life to make the whole scenario have more depth to it, and give them reasoning behind what and why I am doing what I am doing. I have really let myself down and the rest of 229 ending up back on the forums. I cannot express how sorry I am for what I have done all I can ask for is one last chance to let me back into this great community. This is my first RDM ban on the server and can assure you it will be my last. After taking a break from the server I have had time to reflect on what I have done and how out of proportion I was, I apologies for my actions once again and I hope you can give me one more chance.

Are you someone who often acts on impulse when you are angry?

Because judging by your past bans such as the one for combat logging it seems to be a pattern with you?

You state it is your first ban for RDM but it isnt your first ban over all, why risk your place in the community by providing low quality roleplay knowing you would recieve a ban for it?

 
You ask am I someone who often acts on impulse when I am angry. The answer to this question is no I am not. If the person I shot was taking the mick out of the way my character looked or something along those lines I feel the outcome of the situation would of been completely different. The fact is I've always had trouble saying certain words and phrases and when someone tries to highlight that in a disrespectful manor I do not take it kindly. That being said I have learnt from what I have done and I have learnt to control myself when it comes to them situations so if I happen to find myself in a similar situation the outcome will be a lot different.

If this is the case, why can i see a pattern of this behaviour for example your previous ban for combat logging and now this?

I understand that this could feel like a dig against yourself and not your character however you need to remember you are playing a roleplay server and the person saying the things maybe didnt realise the impact it had on the person behind the screen. If something similar was to happen again where someone made fun of the way you speak or something that affected you personally and not your character, how would you go about it differently?

 
Hi siren cheers for the reply, to your second question if I found myself in the same situation I will try to venture down different avenues of rp instead of just shooting him I would give him the option to leave perhaps and just not be as trigger happy in general. Whilst taking a break from the server it has given me time to realise what I did and I have learnt to control myself in those situations and I can promise if I was to find myself in that situation again the outcome will be a lot different.

To your first question the combat logging ban was me acting stupid and not thinking straight I had been playing rpuk for only a short amount of time and i did not understand the severity of what I had done I can only apologise for that ban as I agree I deserved it 100%.

You don't strike me as someone who is here to Roleplay, going off your warnings and bans alone. I do have a question though, why did wait before appealing this ban?

 
You say I don't that I don't strike you as a person here to rp but you could not be any further from the truth. I've always loved a good rp scenario as I believe this is one of the main reasons behind why rpuk is so popular, I also believe the rp standard you find inside of this server is another reason why the server is so successful. I am quite upset that you believe that I am someone who is not here to rp I can only apologise for making you think this I have always been open to criticism to help improve my rp and if you were to give me that final chance I will prove it to you.  

The reason I waited to appeal is because after getting unbanned previously not to long before this ban I felt I needed to give myself time to realise what I had done and how foolish I had been. Me taking that break from appealing in my opinion was probably the best thing I could've done as I believe I have bettered myself in every way since this ban.

What is your roleplay story for this server? Not just for your character Danny Drippage. What other stories would you like to tell?

 
At the minuet I only have one story which is Danny Drippage I have never really been fond of telling a story through any of the other roles apart from crim. To be completely honest I only really have my eyes set on wanting to be tell a story through Danny Drippage at the minuet as I believe I still have a lot of opportunity when it comes Danny Drippage in terms of rp avenues I can venture down but that will only tell with time.

If you are banned again for any sort of Poor RP rule break such as ( RDM, Baiting, Metagaming, NVL ) within a 3 month period, you'll be given a 3 month cooldown before you may appeal.
