Reason given for your ban: Combat logging (C2.3)
In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned for the reason of leaving the game in the middle of a situation with a group of people which had a negative impact on the other people involved in the situation. I was chasing somebody in a car that had taken one of my friend's hostage, I had been chasing him for a considerable amount of time when I shot out one of his tires causing him to crash into a tree. I pulled up next to where he swerved off the road and after a small exchange of words he downed me. I was lying on the floor for roughly 5-10mins with nobody around me when I decided to f8 quit.
Why should we unban you ?: I'm not going to waste anyone's time by attempting to make a plethora of silly excuses and argue them. Everyone's time will be wasted and it's not something I want to do. The simple fact is I combat logged, I admit that fully, I knew what I was doing and I chose to do it. I don't know exactly what made me do it; frustration, anger, poor roleplay. I think it's a culmination of many different things. As soon as I left I felt instant regret, due to this I logged right back in a few minutes later.
I've had time to reflect on my actions and the extremely poor decision that lead to my ban. I have also had time to reflect on how badly it affected the other people around me at the time in the scenario. In the future, if I was to find myself in a similar situation I wouldn't do the same thing again. Due to my time away I have learned when to take a step back and not allow myself to get so frustrated. I understand that breaching C2.3 is detrimental to the flow of roleplay and it tends to ruin others' roleplay. I know what I did was wrong, I apologise profusely for my poor decision and I will make sure it does not happen again.
I believe that taking this break away from the server has been beneficial to me. Taking a step back from the roleplay has allowed me to see everyone's perspectives and not to focus solely on my own experience. In future if I was allowed back this would become a priority of mine. Ensuring other people enjoy a scenario is now one of my goals going forward if I am allowed back.
