Reason given for your ban: C1.12

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned for repeatedly harassing another member of the community to a point where they needed to report me and have a staff member step in to sort it out.

Why should we unban you ?: After the last few months of being banned, I now understand that what I was banned for isn't going to be tolerated again. I was told that the person I did this to has now left the community but if they are to ever return I will be happy to apologize for my actions. I hope that I can be allowed onto the server again even after what I've done. If I'm able to return I will say that nothing like this will happen again As I have now learned from my mistake.

So with what you've been banned for why should we give you another chance, How can we be sure that you won't simply do the same thing again? 

Why do you believe that your actions would of been acceptable during this situation ? 

 
Over the last few months I've been able to think about my actions and understand that stuff like that isn't going to be tolerated on this server. This is an adult community and all players are expected to act like that. In the moment I simply didn't think if what I'm doing is acceptable or not, and if you allow me one more chance I can prove that I can be a part of this community.

 
Lets say we do give you another chance, How do we know you won't simply just do the same thing or somewhat different?

Is this a common thing you was doing at the time to others prior to you being reported? 

Do you often disregard the rules when playing?

 
Nope I don't often disregard rules it was just heat of the moment joking around and I had no intention to offend anyone. The reason I wont do this again is because I learn from my mistakes and I know that this wont be tolerated.

 
Can you please quote the rule you've broken and in your own words explain why we have such a rule in place? 

Furthermore, When it was apparent due to the sheer discomfort from the other party why did you then not stop?

 
"Sensitive Roleplay - Continuing to roleplay subjects of a sensitive nature after being requested to stop by another player will not be tolerated." This rule is here to offer a safe community to all players so they have somewhere to play. I didn't notice any discomfort otherwise I would have stopped. Also as I said previously I had no intention for this to cause any discomfort to the other party and if I was asked to by a moderator or the other party I would have stopped immediately

 
The sheer discomfort was apparent within the situation, So why didn't you take it upon yourself to just stop? Would come down to common sense would it not?

 
As I said I just didn't realize that that there was any discomfort. If they asked me to stop i would have. The rule says if you continue doing it after being asked to stop you must. Not arguing with you I completely agree that I shouldn't have done or said what i said, but its happened and I fully apologize for my actions. And hope the other party can forgive me.

 
Whilst yes the rule does state 'If asked' there is a level of common sense to be applied as per what was mentioned on your report "Its very clear from the clips provided that those roleplaying were told to stop very clearly with audible signs of discomfort."

You mentioned in your initial appeal that you've now learned from your mistake, Can you explain what you've learned ? 

 
I've learned that anything like this won't be tolerated and I need to act in a much more adult manner to play in this community. And if I want to be unbanned I need to prove that I can act in such a way and make sure this doesn't happen again.

 
So, 

Upon looking over this appeal and the other five you've made since April, The effort you are displaying simply isn't enough for what you did in the situation. As mentioned you did make someone feel very uncomfortable and this could of been known by their voice alone. Whilst yes the rule does state "If someone tells you to stop" However there is also a degree of common sense that should always be applied!

As you mentioned this is an adult community and indeed you should of conducted yourself as such, However you did choose to ignore the fact the other party was that uncomfortable it ended with a forum report. Now where does that leave us you may ask? 

In all your appeals they are very lack luster and at this point it's just you spamming appeals hoping you will get another chance, Now given this did indeed happen around 4 months ago you aren't showing any signs of taking responsibility for your actions nor justifying how you've changed in 4 months. At this point given what happened and how you've conducted yourself in previous appeals also I don't believe another chance at this moment is sensible, Not saying down the line that you won't be allowed back but as it stands right now it's to much of a risk. So with that being said this appeal will indeed be denied however there will also be a 6 month cooldown being applied to yourself. 

Take some time away, Improve from how you acted and maybe when you do re-appeal down the line we will look into it and see if things have indeed improved. You may re-appeal on or after January 12th 2023.
