In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned for NVL after running away from someone trying to rob me then pulled out a shotgun and shot him.

Why should we unban you ?: I believe I should be unbanned because I made an honest mistake, looking back on how I reacted to the guy trying to rob me then running away breaks RP. In that exact moment, I believed if I had put some distance between us then had enough time to pull out my shotgun, it would've flipped the tables but instead I broke a server rule and now I'm here.
Leading up to this, I was in an upcoming gang called North Side Cartel who were pursuing a place within the whitelisted gangs on the server, this being said, I always made sure that my roleplaying was outstanding because I didn't want to damage our gangs image. This momentary lapse of roleplay was not something I intended to happen as it was a couple of minutes before storm and I was just about to log out, it caught me off guard which is why I acted out of impulse.
I will learn from this and strive to always roleplay to my highest standard. It was not my intent to break RP or server rules.

First off welcome back to the appeals section! Disappointing to see you return so soon after being offered a chance with your last ban.

Explain to us how this is an honest mistake? You read the rules fully prior to being unbanned last time no?

I am disappointed in myself that I am back here.

This was an honest mistake because, I always thought if it was a 1v1 then it's fair game, especially if I had shotgun on me and all's he had was a machete. I spoke with a few people after this incident who have more experience than me regarding the situation and roleplay in general. I was then educated by them, telling me that's due to him being so close with a machete and me not having my weapon out and ready, this would be classified as NVL. 

My intent was not to break roleplay or server rules, I just thought that I stood a chance.

I will learn from this going forward. 

 
The whole 1v1 situations all depends on the situation since context would be required to make a call on it as a whole. As Liam mentioned in the report "you did have a machete held against you whilst you didn't have any weapon and you decided to run away" thus meaning in this situation your best choice would of been to comply over what happened as a whole. 

If you we're unsure of the rules or believed it was one thing and not another why didn't you reach out to a member of staff for clarification? 

 
The 1v1 thing was cleared up after I spoke to a few friends who could inform me of my wrong doing. I then realised I was in the wrong which I said in the player report trying to show my side of that scenario, that I hold my hands up. I just wasn't sure at the time.

In hindsight, I should've asked for clarification regarding the NVL rule.

I absorb all of the information of my wrong doings so it doesn't happen again. I want to maintain a place in the server and community as it is like no other. 

 
Lets say you had a chance to redo the exact same situation, How would it of played out? 

Indeed you should always reach out to us should you be unsure on rules or just general questions since overall the staff team is here to help to the best of our ability, In relation to the rules can you please quote the rules you've broken and in your own words explain why we have such rules in place?

 
I broke the rule (G2.4) Value of Life - At all times you are to value your life, if you are clearly outnumbered or at an obvious disadvantage you should comply with demands.

What I would do if I was in this situation again - 

The guy shouts me over, asks me what my name is then tells me to put hands up with a machete held to me - I would comply with his demands by putting my hands up, then continue to follow any other instructions he has for me so I don't break server rules or roleplay. 

Let's just say that if I could re-do the situation, I would not be here now. I would've done as requested and gone about my day.

The NVL rule is in place for scenarios that may occur when a person/character doesn't take their current situation seriously. NVL Ruins any roleplay experience because player/characters don't act as they would in real life situations.

 
Seems like you understand your wrongdoing and I'm willing to give you another chance, however, I'll be spectating you and I'm expecting to see a shift in mentality, understand that "roleplay" is not all about winning and sometimes you got to take the "L", you must always provide high-quality roleplay, and value your character life, superhero roleplay will bring you right back here, don't blow it.
