Reason given for your ban: C2.3

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned for combat logging. I initiated an encounter with some other players which resulted in a car chase. I was making good progress in the car chase and then decided to turn the wrong way down the freeway. During my turn I was rammed into by my pursuers which disabled my vehicle. I was annoyed by what I perceived to be dirty tactics to end the chase and ended up mocking the guys that chased me. I was downed and then combat logged whilst being put into the boot of their vehicle.
To make matters worse I then immediately appealed my ban and lied saying that I did not combat log. This was rejected and I was reminded of the 1 month cool down for combat logging related bans. I believe I then immediately created another unban appeal which was also denied.

Why should we unban you ?: I believe I should be unbanned as this is the first offence that I have been banned for. I hadn't been playing very long before this incident occurred, and I unfortunately failed to fully read the rules before beginning my gameplay in RPUK. In the weeks following my ban I frequently visited the appeal a ban forum and looked into the most effective methods of being unbanned. I quickly realised that honesty was the best policy for this. At the time I was so keen to get back onto the server that I didn't think I was able to take a step back and take full responsibility for my actions, hence the 5 month delay in appealing my ban. In this time I have taken a step back from online gaming and have come back with a refreshed attitude and I am willing to take full responsibility for my actions and the effects that my actions have on other players within the RPUK community. I have reflected on how my gameplay hurt the gameplay of others and I would like to apologise to that player, as well as the admin that dealt with my previous appeals for wasting his time.

How can I trust you moving forward if you've decided to lie in your original unban appeal which was your chance to prove yourself to us? 
Are you now only giving us what you think we would like to hear?

I originally lied as I was under the illusion that I might have been able to get away with a slap on the wrist and be allowed back onto the server sooner than the original 1 month cooldown plus appeal process. 

I have since taken time to understand how I affected the gameplay of RPUK and how the rules have to be enforced to provide a fun and immersive experience for all involved. In my 6 month break I have reflected on this and have stopped playing fivem completely as I could not find another server where the rules were enforced to the same standard as RPUK. 

I fully understand if my current appeal is denied for lying in my original appeal. But I would love the opportunity to prove myself as a valuable member of your community.

We can proceed regardless of you lying in the original appeal as I appreciate that you've now admitted to doing so.
You say you disconnected due to being "annoyed" at losing the situation. This to me displays a win/loss mentality which is the opposite of what we would like to see here.
We're looking for players whom can enjoy any given scenario with a positive attitude, rather than getting annoyed.

Do you often act out of frustration?

I am normally well tempered and able to control my emotions. Back in June I was going through some personal issues with both my home and work life which I won't go into. This is a poor excuse for my behaviour, I know... I should have taken time away from on line gaming during this time, however I did not. This leads back into my previous comment of being in a better position now to take responsibility for my actions.

At this point I feel like the best course of action, from my side at least is to once again apologise for my previous behaviour and give you my word that it will not happen again in the future.

Back to the appeal, if you were placed into the same situation again, what would you be doing differently to have the scenario play out?

I'm in a much better position now, thank you for asking 🙂

In future, if put in the same position I would not go back and taunt the other party after the first chase has ended. And if put in the situation of the video in my report I would remain in character and not taunt my assaulters in a way that breaks my character such as not acting injured when downed. I would stay until the end of the encounter regardless of how it plays out for my character in the future also.
