Why should we unban you: Im giving the appeal route another attempt here, i have spoken to many staff, gathered advice and information as well as giving back, as best as i can, to the community. If there are any unanswered questions left in this appeal i will gladly answer with upmost honesty and to the best of my capability to support this process.

My past: I would like to keep this short and sweet as i believe, whilst deeply relevant, that my history is not what needs to be discussed. During my near 2 years on the server, i abided by every rule which warranted me never receiving a prior ban to this one. I have recently been made aware that i have had OOC Abuse warnings in the past which i can only apologise for - however since it never escalated it is clear i learnt my lesson from the "slap on the wrist".
Additionally, my time in alliance is only a small fraction on my time in the community and i would hate for my image and chance to be ruined due to a slither of my time.

C1.6 Is a community ban removing members deemed disruptive towards the community, initially this was enforced due to other members of alliance spreading videos discrediting the community. In my previous appeal my forums accounts purpose was limited to Unban appeals, however after speaking with Staff i was granted permission to post with the community and engage in any manner possible. Prior to my ban i never used the forums, however during my time away i have realised its true usage and benefit towards the community. As well engaging in discussions about hot topics is not only interesting on looking at either arguments, but beneficial to the Staff, Developers and community to evoke necessary changes.

This leads to one of the first things ill promise you, i will be more engaging with the community. Its unfortunate it took me a ban to see its benefits but im here now trying my best to support it.

Now being banned for a year, ive noticed my "drop off" since joining alliance, reviewing my clips from grove compared to alliance was abysmal. Its clear that a necessary wipe was needed, i can only apologise for contributing to the chaos caused. However, i did join Alliance as the names in the gang were enticing. One of the people in Alliance was the first person i met in RPUK and excelled my character, and i knew many more from the past and other gangs. So i was blindsided to the destruction being caused as i felt these people were going to act as role models and craft a gang which puts rp first.

My second promise is that i will ensure i am providing rp beneficial to both parties and have less selfish views. I will chose decisions more carefully. I cannot say putting rp first is what i did on the server 24/7, however for 90% of my time it was, and i will guarantee i will never return to how i ended, but resurge how i once was. One thing i am passionate for is the the new player base, as stated in a forums post (https://www.roleplay.co.uk/threads/community-be-more-baldie-friendly.428733/#post-2499528) i was luckily enough to be accepted despite my "baldy" image, this is one thing i would help contribute to within the community providing an engaging experience for new people.

What does my future on RPUK look like: If i was to be given the chance to return i would like to expand my characters. Since only ever having Ollie Just and being restricted to Gang RP i would like to explore other avenues. During my distance, i realised how much i missed from this community and side of rp i could go down. So i would return to my original character, however i would like to pursue someone new in an area other than gangs. Where that may be we will just have to wait and see where the rp takes me.

EDIT: I would like to enhance my response to where my future on RPUK looks like. After careful consideration, i simply believe that the legal route would best suit me. As a Law student outside of city, i believe i could provide and enhance fundamental roleplay in order to provide great experience for clients of all sorts. I would like to create a legal character who climbs the ranks and eventually be able to open my own practise where i can recruit other unique roleplayers to join and provide legal rp within the server. I have been to court once i believe during my time in RPUK and the lawyer was phenomenal within his rp and consultancy. Additionally the use of the RPUK Legal Discord and google sheets was also extremely sophisticated in which i would love to wrap my head around. I know i can provide the rp people desire and need and only wish to gain a single chance. I wanted to elaborate on this as i believe "seeing where the rp takes me" was too vague and lazy from my end.

I have joined many other servers however nothing seemed to satisfy me, i kept comparing the RP, community and server and realised the cost of my mistake.

As for members of Alliance i kept in touch very recently after the ban however i have disconnected myself as i feel i needed to remove myself from the environment which altered my RP and standards.

I truly believe that my return will bring positive contributions to the community, whether that be in the forums or in-game, i assure you that i have learnt from my mistake.

Good evening Stavik I hope all is well,

First of all, thank you for the reply and the chance to answer your question.

Firstly, I would like to admit I made a mistake, trust between staff will slowly but surely need to be rekindled. However, I assure you I have learnt from it, spoke with many members of the community and other staff who furthered my understandings that my actions were unacceptable and needed deep reflection and changing in which I have done so. I like to believe I have been open and honest with staff throughout my unban appeal process and aimed to put myself as someone worthy to be returned to the community after such a ban. I did go down that path and let the standards drop, but I now know that such actions do not benefit me, the community or staffs time and it will be my sole priority to provide the expected standard of rp and never return to how I unfortunately once was.

This is my first ban, I believe before my last few months, I proved I am capable of upholding my rp standards within the community for many months. Why I let myself go of such prestige still makes me question myself to this day, however, admittedly, I preferred my rp and who Ollie Just was prior to Alliance, and returning to how I once was is all I desire and therefore will never go down the wrong path again.

Additionally, I have been trying my best to support and benefit the community as much as possible from the side-lines as I truly respect and wish for this community to grow. I have become more engaged with the forums and opened my views to many discussions and seen how and what the community needs from people.

I would finally like to say, I will not let the standards drop. Coming to a year now, I have thoroughly change from who I was, matured and listened to feedback to ensure I am ready to return to RPUK and realised that I value this community far too much to let it go.

High quality roleplay is an experience you provide that attempts to rein act a similar scenario to real life, that engages both parties being it group or singular, for everyone to enjoy. This should create an immersive feeling where it allows both parties to "bounce" off each other leading to scenarios that create an element of a story. This could be a brief interaction, however, in some circumstances this could lead to ongoing interactions that last more than months. An example of this would be groups that have trade or other agreements which have long standing rp binding them together.

Sorry for my misunderstanding ,however i understand your question now.

Personally, high quality rp is something that i value, someone who puts effort in to creating a scenario that leaves me wanting it to continue or meet them again, is something i am grateful for and seek to experience wherever possible.

To me High quality rp is an experience that leaves me with a long lasting impact and perhaps a change that my character experiences through perspective or physical. It must also be an enjoyable experience, ignoring the idea of “winning” or “losing”, i expect no matter the outcome that i have been provided with an experience i can find entertaining and further incorporate within my characters story. I also believe that there needs to be an active element, what i mean by this is both parties must be doing/ participating in some way, to me this is essential as being directly involved in the scenario is captivating and allows the rp to continue.

I am satisfied with the rp when it makes sense to conclude and the scenario has had its full message and effect where i and the other person have contributed to their maximum ability, however i also enjoy when it leads to an ongoing story that last longer than that moment.
