Reason given for your ban: 1.2 Chat Ban

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned for saying "my n****" in the ooc chat for thanking someone for their help with a situation. I didnt mean it in a threatening way or to offend anyone.

Why should we unban you ?: As a person of colour i did not mean to break rule 1.2 Chat Ban (Do not express discriminatory or otherwise offensive views.) The word has clearly flagged up however when taken out of context it sounds worse than it actually is. This is the only server that i play on FiveM with having clocked around 50 hours online. I really do not want to join a lesser server. I have learnt my lesson to use words that could get me banned on the ooc chat and will refrain from using such words again in the server. Even having said what i said in occ chat i still remained in character as that is how i act in game and out of game. I have also fully read the rules again to gain a better understanding on how to be better in the server and will further change the way i go about using my language in voice and text chat. If anything I should be given a warning for not knowing the extent of the profanity rules not perma banned as a long time server player and a fan of the servers work on FiveM. I have not previously broken any rules prior to this situation. Thank you for your time and i hope you read and get back to me soon so i can start playing again and better myself and the server's high rp standards.

There is simply just certain words that are associated with certain things, no matter who says them. What people do in their free time, is up to them. What they do and say in this community, unfortunately, is not. 

The general association and understanding of this word is racist - all over the world. And that is precisely how we are going to treat it, no matter if the person using it is black, white, green or blue - it simply does not matter. 

And racism is and always will be a permanent ban.

That being said, please quote me the rule you broke and explain to me why it is in place and what the consequences would be if it wasn´t.

I fully understand my actions were wrong and I regret saying it regardless of the context I used it in.

The rule I broke was C1.2 - Discrimination - Do not express discriminatory or otherwise offensive views. This is no place for racism, religious hatred, ageism, sexism, homophobia, gender or disability discrimination.

Like the rule states the rule is in place to stop the use of offensive or hateful comments towards other players, first off because it is wrong on many levels and I am a strong believer in being kind to one another. The rule can prevent people from saying things that players could find disrespectful and take offense to, with that being said nobody really knows what other players are going through RP or no RP. It isn't the place to be rude or criticise someone as it is out of RP.

This rule if was not in place could potentially lead to psychologic effects on players such as anxiety and depression which is common in our day and age but isn't talked about enough. Nobody wants to come to this digital world to escape reality and to be met with harassment and bullying within the RP world also. 

I would also like to state again that I have never bullied, harassed or sent hate onto any other players within the community as I genuinely love to RP and this server is the best place for it and there isn't anything else like this server. I would like to please have a second chance and I will promise and prove to the admins that I am not a hateful person as that is what I have been banned for. If I could have the chance to be unbanned I would take the time to read through all of the rules in place carefully AGAIN to make sure I never stupidly fall into the trap of breaking one again in the future and as for the use of the ooc chat, I will make sure that everything I type in the chat is fully related to the RP scenarios that are happening within my own storyline and not involve myself with other players that I am not in contact with in game.

I'm happy to give you another opportunity to return however keep in mind what has been addressed here and be mindful of how you conduct yourself moving forth. I do hope we don't see you return to this section of the forums moving forth and don't let us down!
