Why should we unban you ?: Good evening,

Firstly, I would like to address the first ban.
 



I want to apologise to Jack as I could have done better on my end. I have looked over both perspectives and accept I was totally in the wrong. I have learnt from this to give a bit of back and forth before just shooting.

I appreciate Jack's situation and realise it was a poor experience. In the future, I'll be a lot more engaging with officers in a standoff situation. I am sorry Jack for the experience, if we do run into each other it will be a better experience for you.

Apologies also to the staff for having to spend time on it as I should have done better.

Secondly, the other ban:
 



I need some guidance on this issue, as I was not the one who initiated the shootout and as it was a robbery with multiple officers around, I believed it was an active shootout with all the gunshots going around. I understand that it was a poor experience for the officer responding to just show up and get shot. I do feel like it was an ongoing scene with RP with the current officers present.

I am unsure how to look at this situation as I believe it was one RP situation rather than multiple situations. If it was one situation then it was just unfortunate timing that Jack Jones shoots at a UC for failing to stop. Then both Jack and I shoot at Alfie as he arrives.

I do not know what to take from this situation as it is currently the norm. I believe it is a different issue that police are now just being used to get fresh weapons every day. This is probably not the best place to discuss this, but I hope it shows that I've been thinking about this situation. I believe police guns should last longer so they aren't targeted so often. Allowing police to investigate people using police weapons. People currently dump the police guns when the gun breaks. They then go out to get another fed at a gas station for the next 24-hour gun. This would stop any investigation unless they are caught in the process.

Overall, I will show you an improvement in my RP with police officers and hope the current police situation changes for them. As this is my first ban for RDM, I hope I am shown some leniency as I have learnt my lesson.

You seem to get yourself caught up in the RDM rule frequently. 
Previously received a warning for RDM on 06/10/2023, now you've managed to have another 2 player reports followed by a ban added to your record.

I need some guidance on this issue, as I was not the one who initiated the shootout and as it was a robbery with multiple officers around

There were no shots at the time of which these officers appeared on scene, you had no prior interaction with them whatsoever and they got shot in the face?
Do you not see anything wrong with that?

Thank you for the quick reply.

Looking over this clip, you can see muzzle flashes as one officer was getting robbed at the pumps when an undercover pulled up and drove away, not complying with demands.

From my understanding, that would mean that the situation had already started. That's why I would like some guidance because the situation already escalated.

I do apologise for the lack of RP with the officers who arrived late. I just believe it was unlucky timing, as shots had already been fired. So not allowing for any RP to occur.

Can you please explain to me the RDM rule in your OWN words and why it is important to have this rule on the server?

 Well first of all this isn't a frag server so the act of randomly killing people doesn't align with this community. The RDM rule basically means to not partake in the downing/killing of someone's character without a strong reason within RP, In my own opinion this rule ensure's that that both parties of the roleplay situation have an enjoyable and fair experience.

Whilst I've been banned and working away I've taken sometime to think about my actions, I now understand my general thought process within certain situations was definitely wrong so I'd like to take a moment in this appeal to give a bit of backstory and explain what I've learned...

My character Abu Gustavo is quite well known within the city, In the time he's been in the city he's made some good friends and strong enemies as well as a long lasting feud with the police resulting in some situations with them that have often turned hostile very quickly from both their side and mine. Some great RP scenarios have come of these interactions and i can honestly say all parties involved have had an enjoyable experience for the most part. I believe the issues started for me because i got carried away with my whole feud with the police, Rather then treating each interaction with them as a separate situation. I got carried away and treated them like one big ongoing one. I've now realized that my actions and thought process needed some work and have adjusted my mindset so guarantee i can be apart of situations that everyone can enjoy.

I'd also like to take a moment to apologize to the people that my poor judgment may have caused disruption to through out these situations so i hope you see this.

@NB2SLAPPYSo here is my decision, you have been given a warning before and then now banned for RDM.

I have read your messages and I thank you for taking time to explain to me the backstory, what I want to see is better RP from you and do not think about items (robbing cops over and over again) over RP. Lets see you make some interesting RP scenarios. 

However this does come with a warning, do not make me regret this decision, if you are found to be breaching this or any of the other rules again, this process will not be easy.

Take this as a golden opportunity, and do not take my kindness for weakness.
